A little complicated (at least for me). We are staying at the Polynesian and would like to make a PS for a meal at Boma.

Would you choose breakfast or dinner? I will go with whatever you all feel is the best meal served there. If we do dinner we could make a PS after touring AK. If we pick breakfast I am unsure how to get to the AKL from Poly early in the morning.

Would a taxi be the easiest? I am unsure of my options.

Thanks for any idea's:) 2 Adults 2 children.

My family did not really enjoy Boma at all. We are very adventurous diners and the food was a little to different for us. I would recommend lunch, if anything as the prices are lower.

Good luck!

Boma's isn't open for lunch.

I choose dinner. I am not a big fan of breakfast buffets.

We did both breakfast and dinner at Boma. We all really enjoyed both meals, but the breakfast was my favorite. We had an early PS (7:30) and everything was so fresh and delicious. DH are going back by ourselves to WDW for a long weekend and have a PS for breakfast at Boma.

I've done both breakfast and dinner and I'd also recommend breakfast if you have a car. Much nicer, quieter, server less "harried". But if you don't have a car, you might have to get up too early to make breakfast conveniently.

We've done both breakfast and dinner. I'd choose dinner, since breakfast isn't really that much different from what you might find at other places. It was good, but dinner was outstanding.

We didn't do dinner, but I wasn't that impressed with breakfast. It was fine, just nothing that special. Now, we did have a late breakfast, so maybe it's better earlier but I've had better at a Marriott. I'd try dinner.

I haven't been to breakfast there, but I think the dinner at Boma was the very best meal we had at WDW last year. The food was simply outstanding, the service was friendly and helpful, and even my picky 7-year-old loved it. There is a variety of regular buffet food that is excellent, as well as the luscious African specialities that I loved. Also, a wide variety of South African wines, which you don't find very many places.

We did dinner at Bomas last July & loved it. We got a peek at the breakfast buffet, & it looked good. te real draw is the African twist on the food, Best tasted at dinner.

For breakfast transporation, I would take the bus to AK, & transfer to the bus to AKL. Since they are so close, they circulate often.

Thanks so much for the replies. We will be trying dinner first and if it's a hit we may return to try breakfast. I have been eager to view AKL and to experience a meal here! This will give us more time to walk around and see the place.

Thanks again:)

Eat there for dinner. There is so much to choose from and don't forget ZEBRA DOMES....Enjoy!

hi: we've eaten dinner there and are going back (probably tomorrow night) on our little trip. make sure you save a lot of room for dessert-go and check it out before you head back for seconds and thirds on the dinner. the 2 teens, 30 yo, dh and i all thought we should have walked back to the bwv after that dinner. if you're not real sure if you'll like a particular dish, just take a small sample. your waitperson should be able to clue you in on all the goodies.

The breakfest is great but if you can only pick one go with dinner. What a hard choice though!
