which May week would be least crowded?

I'm trying to plan a last minute trip. My choices are May 17-26 OR May 24-June 2. Of these two weeks which would be less crowded? Thanks!

I would say May 24 to June 2 thinking it would be quieter after memorial day as opposed to leading up to it

Bear in mind that the week commencing 24th May is a holiday for most kids in the UK.

Hmm..I think the latter week would be much more likely to be more crowded. Lots of schools are getting out just prior to Memorial Day. Attendance charts in the Unofficial Guide show a major spike at Memorial Day and no real dip again until August. I know everything is an educated GUESS based on past patterns, but I would go early if you can.
I've been once in May and attendance was definitely building towards the end of our visit, which was towards the end of the month.

I think if you look at the posted hours for May you will see that Disney is looking for a higher attendence the week after Mem. Day. They have a pretty good handle on how many people to expect.

Very tough to make comparisons to previous years as far as crowds go. We just got back yesterday and we went the same exact time last year. It was definitely much MORE crowded this year (don't why they're crying about park attendance being down)...I was talking to a CM at Beaches & Creme and he told me it's been almost non-stop for the past month.

I realize Easter was later this year but it was still MUCH busier everywhere and they don't expect it to ease up which is probably a good thing.
