I am selling my Baby Jogger City Mini Double and want to get a Maclaren Twin but can't decide if I should get the twin triumph or the twin techno. My kids are 4 months and 2 years old. I intend to use this stroller for the mall, Disney, and various other weekend trips. Please help by giving me the pros and cons of each model..:lovestruc

Thanks!

I'm going to buy the Techno, because of the extendable leg rest. DD (2.5) has found a way to wiggle her way down and stick her legs down to the floor and stop the stroller with her shoes. :headache: SO, when I use the Quest (I wish they had a Twin Quest) she can't do it because of the leg rest being extended... MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Did you check out the comparison chart on Maclaren's website?

We have a 4 yr old and a 10 mo old and LOVE our techno double. The seats felt bigger, the sun coverage better, the extendable leg rest is great for the little one. And it is super light. I def think it is worth every single penny spent. Oh and bigger wheels I believe, which makes it easier to push.

I was leaning towards the techno but, the colors really stink! Grey or Black...really? Do you techno owners think the comfort pack is a necessity? (I have a 4 month old and a 2 year old).
Thanks

Just curious as to why u are selling the BJCM?? I have a single BJCM and a Techno XT. I love both for different reasons.

It's funny because we sold our Mac Twin Techno to buy our Baby Jogger City Double. I did not like the Mac TT and neither did my kids. They constantly complaned that it was uncomfortable and it wasn't easy to push either.

The BJCM Double just felt way too big for me. I used it once at Disney and it was great there, but at the mall it just felt really huge and cumbersome. I used to use it with the car seat adapter and it was very inconvient to install and remove that thing. I know the Maclaren twin is just as wide as the BJCM double, but it just feels smaller and seems to have less mass. I was going to keep the BJCM Double for trips to Disney and just buy the Maclaren twin too but, I kind of felt guilty that I would be spending $700 plus on strollers in a six month period.
