I am looking to buy a Maclaren for our new baby, but dont know which one is best for a newborn. We bought a Volo a couple of years ago for DD(then 7) to use for Disney trips. This is a great stroller- pushes like a dream- and I really want one for our new baby since the Volo does not recline. Do some of them recline all the way for a baby? Thanks for the help.

We started DS in our Mac Quest at 3 months but he was extremely strong and had great head/neck control early on. We did put a blanket in for extra support. I wouldn't try it with a baby any younger or one who did not have good head/neck control. I would wait until closer to 5-6 months.

The Quest reclines and has a 5 point harness.

The Triumph reclines but we found the seat isn't as roomy for growth as the other two.

We have a Quest and it reclines all the way and is very roomy.

The Quest does not recline all the way. It reclines about 75%. I own a Quest and while I absolutely love it, our Combi reclines a lot further. They say the Techno is best for newborn becuase it has a head rest and it more cushy but either way, the Quest and the Techno have an extended footrest feature for tiny babies.

If it were me: I'd go for the Techno. The 2007 Techno has a max weight of 65lbs. so it will take you all the way until your child is about 7 years old! Its pricey but worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will go and investigate the best prices I can find. Probably leaning towards the Techno since it has the headrest and holds a higher weight. Thanks again
