Which MAC

I'm looking at for a 15-inch mac, protection plan, office 2004 for students, and a case for about 2,747.85

Is that good or not?

Thanks now it's convincing my mom to agree to it. I just have to have a computer for school with as much work as I do on the computer for my classes.

My DH got himself a Macbook Pro last fall. He really likes it and if he can understand it, anyone can (very non-techy).

I have a 2 yr old Powerbook. I would like some of the things the Macbook Pro has *like the built in camera*, but I love my Powerbook.

Thanks so far it's a no go. They think there's to much on my computer but that doesn't explain why I can't burn data cds, or why if I just barely move my cord it goes to battery at times. It has problems and it's frustating.

laptops have very little wiggle room when it comes to tolerances. a slight drop on the floor can cause major problems with them when it comes to hardware. there's a lot of electronics packed into a very small space.

that's why AppleCare from Apple is so much more expensive than on a stationary desktop.

that's why you're having problems with your power cord. the latest Macbooks have a Magsafe power cord that detaches magnetically if someone gets tangled up with them.

Mother thinks it would be better to take into someone here and see what they say but it would take three to four days and I can't go that long without my computer. It just doesn't make sense to me on how it could burn data cds and now can't. why it takes one account ten minutes to load everything if I'm lucky. Right now it's looking at a no go.
