We are taking our six year old daughter back to Disney in January. I'm debating between a pre-park opening appointment at the BBB location inside Cinderella's Castle on the third day of our trip and an afternoon appointment at the BBB location at DTD on the fifth day of our trip. We have never been to either location.

We are having lunch at Be Our Guest and Dinner at The Grand Floridian Café on the day we will be at Magic Kingdom. We are having lunch at Earl of Sandwich and Dinner at Garden Grove (which will have characters, but not princesses) on our off park day.

Do you get to see much of the inside of the castle if we go with the MK location? The restaurant will be closed for refurbishment during our trip :(

I'm thinking that we will buy her a princess dress and let her find it on Christmas morning along with an invitation to the boutique.

Any advice will be appreciated!

We just did BBB, and we did it on an off day at Downtown Disney just because we didn't want to use park time for it, but if you go before opening, that may not be as big of a deal. We did the appointment at 10:30, so we were able to sleep in a little and then go. We also did 1900 Park Fare for dinner, so we had somewhere to go all dressed up. The next day we had a fastpass for Anna and Elsa, so we also wore the dress for that and then took it off after.

We like the MK location and since I usually schedule a princess meal for the day of DD's makeover it makes getting to lunch/dinner easier too. You don't see too much of the Castle, just the interior of BBB, but it's done very well and adds a ton of ambiance.
