Which limo company to take?????

We use to use Tiffany all the time. Very friendly drivers, great service. Our last 2 trips we haven't had the same driver returning to airport as arriving and the one home has been a doozy!

One lady didn't have the car seat we needed in her car and had to call for b/u making us almost miss our flight home! The other lady wouldn't lift a finger to help w/ the luggage. Was quite content to stand back and watch dh load it all.

I did a search here and saw a lot of talk about new ownership....when did this happen? I'm also considering QS or Happy Limo. We definitely want a grocery stop. I have 2 young children. 1 booster age, the other a car seat is req'd. I don't think I could do my shopping in 15mins.

I also had a bad experience with Tiffany. This was back in 2003. Ever since then, I have used Sunray Transportation based on a recommendation from another DIS member. They have been wonderful for every trip. A 30 minute grocery stop is included. I haven't traveled with carseat age kids. But if you contact them via their website, I am sure they can answer your questions. You should receive an answer within 24 hours.

We just used Sunray ($82 round trip!) and would definitely recommend them. We wanted a grocery stop, so they provided us with a big SUV (Suburban). Very good service.

Nice to hear of these good reviews on Sunray. Especially one so recently! I'm going to look them up on the web, ask about the car seats and maybe give them a try.

Who is the cheapest to go through for Limo services to and from the airport and AKL?

We have always used Happy Limo and loved them. Our driver is George. ( we always request him) For the grocery shop, I fax over a grocery list to Albertsons and they have the grociers ready i just go in and pay and load up. Have fun.

We have also used Happy Limo many times and have had nothing but wonderful service. Each driver has been friendly, drove safely, has been punctual and seems to like children. They will also take the time to stop you in at a store to pick up a few items if you request the stop at the time of booking their service. I plan on booking them for in Sept for our cruise transfers if I can get a good rate.

I'll be using QS in a few days and will gladly let you know how it went when I get home! I have DS6 so we'll see how they are with kids. I requested his name be on the little sign they hold up and they said no problem! He doesn't even know we aren't riding the bus!

I usually split the 20% tip up between arrival and departure...just in case we don't have the same driver.

Question. If you do limo services, 24 hrs in advance do you have to call them to make arrangments to pick you up from the hotel to take you back to the airport, like you do with shuttles or do you arrange all that when you make reservations? Also I'm looking at happy limos and for roundtrip for the lincoln stretch limo its $200.00. Is that it or is there tax and tolls added?

We've used Happy Limo several times and can't say enough good things about them. We always make a grocery stop and our driver hasn't minded if we go over our allotted minutes in the store. The last time we arranged for a towncar to the airport...you can imagine our surprise when a beautiful stretch limo arrived instead! The driver said it was because we were such good customers. True or not, it certainly made an impression! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. All of the tolls were taken care of, by the way.
