I am thinking of rolling with:

10-22mm
24-105mm
50mm 1.8 (for dark rides. even though the AF is so slow and hunt-y. lol.)

For my August trip.

And leaving behind the 70-200mm.

I don't care about safari shots.

What do you bring?

My kit:

18-55
28-70 f2.8
70-200 f2.8
30 f1.4

DW's kit:

18-55
50-200

I have also brought a 100-300 f4, but have rarely used it. I don't know if I would bring it again.

do you find you use the 70-200 2.8 outside the safari?

I know everyone shoots differently...just curious.

You have the critical focal length range well covered.
For my last trip, I used the RX100 exclusively, which tops out at about 100mm. Didn't do the Safari. The only time I wished I had longer, was as Fantasmic, but that was partially because I was seated in the back. Other than that, I lived very happily within that focal range.

Yes and numerous other times. I used it for shows in front of the castle, inside shows with low light where I was seated in the rear, Fantasmic, Lights Motors Action, etc. When dealing with the crowds, for me, it was much easier to sit back with the zoom. Without the 70-200, I was unhappy with the inability to obtain close-ups. In my other photographic life, other than Disney, I carry multiple cameras with heavy lenses. When I go to Disney carrying only one camera with the lenses in my backback, I consider that going light!

35mm 1.8, 18-200 3.5

I almost exclusively use the 35 except in close quarters. Boy I wish I could afford the 24mm 1.4

You might wish for more length at the shows at DHS or onstage at the castle. But it would be easy to get by with the 105 if you sit down closer.

Sometimes it's fun to shoot with a telephoto at parades just for a different perspective. Probably not fun enough to want to carry it around though. ;)

My typical compliment is:
DSLR-A580 camera
18-250mm lens
10-24mm lens
30mm F1.4 lens
300mm F4 lens with 1.4x TC

NEX-5N camera
18-55mm lens
16mm lens with 12mm adapter
55-210mm lens with 1.7x teleconverter
50mm F1.7
40mm F1.8
35mm F1.4
28mm F2.8

I do care about animal photos and safari, so the big 300mm + 1.4x gets a lot of use for that, but rarely for anything else (though I have used it at Lights, Motors, Action, Indiana Jones, and Nemo musical too). I also enjoy the 55-210mm lens with 1.7x TC for animal shots, but also use this lens frequently for all the stage shows and events.

Depends on the trip.

Generally I bring my 18-105mm. It is my old reliable.

Twice I have brought my 50-500mm. It was a pain in the a to carry around, but I'd only bring it on certain days. Both trips were spread out over 10 days or more.

Previous trips had the 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 on a crop body with the 50mm f/1.8 stashed in a bag or pocket (since it's so small and light). I'd only take the 70-210 f/4 out for AK. However, I'll be taking a full frame on the next trip and I've parted with every lens I just listed (I'm still in a bit of shock over doing that LOL). I'll most likely have the 24-105 f/4 as my walk around and take a 35 or 50mm with me, depending on if I take the crop or full frame body out that day. I will probably use the crop at AK with the 70-200 f/4. I've also been pretty obsessed with my Lensbaby the last few months so I can see taking that into the parks to play with. Either way, I'll haul it all to the resort with me and decide each day what I'll use.

So I'm absolutely no help whatsoever here.

I'm bringing ALL OF THEM!

Ha, I only have 5. They are:
18-105mm kit lens
50mm f/1.8
28mm f/2.8
55-300mm
11-18mm
I also found a way to fit my speedlight into my slingbag. Thank god I have a stroller to do the heavy lifting.

On my last trip I took the following:

14-24mm f/2.8
24-70mm f/2.8
70-200mm f/2.8
300mm f/4.0
1.7x teleconverter

I will likely bring most of these same lenses for our impending trip in November. Still debating on whether I will bring the 300mm, I do plan on bringing my 35mm f/1.4 for dark rides.

Crop body nikon (d80)
30mm 1.4
28-300mm 3.5-6.3

Thats it. I'm done stressing over my kit. Now... what kind of bag/strap?

Eta: speedlight SB-400

I'm leaving in 17 days! Bringing
bodies-K5 & Kr
zooms
12-24 f4
16-50 f2.8
50-135 f2.8 (weather sealed)
70-200 f2.8

Primes
55 f1.4 (weather sealed)
100 f3.5 (Macro)
200 f4 (small and light for AK)

I may streamline more, leave the Macro home and the 70-200 cause I don't really need it if I bring the primes...

What do you bring?

D3x
D2x Backup
24-70 (my workhorse)
70-200 although you are not bothered about safari shots I use it for stunning depth of field

7-14
12-35 f/2.8
45-175
25 f/1.4 or 45 f/1.8

These micro 4/3 lenses provide an equivalent of 14-350 but including the camera weigh less than my previous Canon xxD and 24-105 alone. :)

My Rokkor ultra-wide angle lens is a must. The Fisheye effect works wonderfully in Disney Parks.

7-14
12-35 f/2.8
45-175
25 f/1.4 or 45 f/1.8

I'm also shooting 4/3 with my Olympus OM-D em-5. You got to love how light and compact a full system is.

By the time October gets here I will probably just have...

Canon
17-40 - 4.0 (back-up for Nikon 14-24)
24-70 - 2.8

Nikon
14-24 - 2.8
