Which kitchaid mixer? Best price?

I got my Artisan 5 years ago for $105 + tax - Lowe's ad price *error* ~ local Lowe's were out *could've done a website order at the store* but Sears matched the ad price + an additional 10% off + a $30 rebate from Whirlpool/Kitchenaid Slickdeals thread on it....

If you really want the best price for a Kitchenaid mixer, I would start watching slickdeals starting around Halloween when they open the Black Friday forum. If you do some research, there should be some really good doorbuster deals on the mixers for Black Friday. And with Kohls, you can usually order it online instead of going to the store at midnight.

I just saw a thread on slickdeals for the professional 600 model for $170 at Kohls after price match to Tuesday Morning who has it on sale for $299, 20% coupon and Kohls cash and $50 rebate. Im not sure if I can link the thread here, but it may be worth reading it.
