I was just on the Radisson website to check rates for next year's cruise. I noticed they have a standard rate, then a "cruise parking", which is just a little more. I thought you automatically got the free shuttle if you stayed at the Radisson. Do you really need to book the "cruise" package, or is that just a gimmick? Thanks!

I booked using the "Fall" promotion, and they assured me over the phone that I could still park and ride to the port for free.

I think, and correct me if I'm wrong~~ the cruise parking rate is if you leave your car/vehicle there while you're on the cruise.... The shuttle service is for everyone to use from the hotel to the port, regular rooms, cruise parking,etc....
Veteran cruisers~~~~Does that sound right??

Thanks Jeanny

They told me that if I stayed the night before the cruise using any code or rate, I was welcome to park for free and take their shuttle to the port.

The cruise parking rate is a "gimmick". Any rate qualifies for free parking and a ride to the terminal.

Availability of shuttles is limited at the prime times. Arrive early to get your preferred time, or take your family over early and drop them off with luggage at terminal then drive back and standby for an earlier shuttle without luggage. We've done this several times and is actually easier.

I also called the Radisson and was told that no matter which room I booked I could still park there during the cruise and take the shuttle to the port. So to me it sounds like the cruise special is a gimmick to catch some people. It almost worked on me. :D

there isn't any great daels out there. However the AAA family rate is $79.00. I figure that isn't too bad considering that parking at the port is $10.00 per day.

We are leaning toward the whirlpool 1 bedroom suite so that Ma and Pa can have a little privacy before the cruise.;) ;) :p :p

How do you do those adorable hugging/kissing smilies? You did it to me before & I can't figure out where you're getting them????

We recently just stayed in the King Whirlpool Suite and it was fantastic :)

I have a question--we are renting an Avis car to get to the Radisson and so we can go to Ron Jons and Grills without paying for a taxi. I was leaning toward turning the car in Saturday night and taking the Radisson shuttle. Would we have better luck turning the car in Sunday AM and taking the Avis shuttle? We don't fly into MCO until 2:15 and won't get to the hotel until about 3:30 or 4, so I'm afraid the early shuttle times will be gone.
