I am having a hard time finalizing the itinerary for two of our days of our trip (3/10 and 3/12). I will detail the two versions of our trip below and if you have any insight as to what would be better please let me know! We are a party of 3, 2 kids ages 16 and 20, and are staying at the four seasons and will have a rental car. We are trying to visit Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios within these two days and will not have any other time to go to them. Thanks so much!

Version 1 (what I currently have set up)

3/10
Head to Epcot Around 11:30 AM (we will have MK after hours the night before)
Lunch at Sunshine Seasons
Standby for Soarin whenever wait time is at its lowest
FP for Spaceship Earth, Mission Space, and Frozen
Go to Boardwalk for dinner at Flying Fish 5:20
After dinner go to HS for Fantasmic and then EMH 8-10 PM-try to ride TSM, ToT, and RRC
Go Home

3/12
Head to Animal Kingdom around 10
Breakfast at Tusker House 10:25
FP for Safaris, Dinosaur, and Everest
Go Back to Hotel (flight that evening)

OR

Version 2

3/10
Rope drop at Animal Kingdom
Do safaris, everest, and dinosaur when waits are lowest (may have to continue to after breakfast)
Breakfast at Tusker House 10:25
Head back to hotel for rest
Go to Epcot around 4:30
FP for Spaceship Earth, Mission Space, and Frozen
Dinner at chefs de france
Standby for Soarin whenever wait is at its lowest
Illuminations then go home

3/12
EMH at Hollywood Studios
FP for RRC, ToT, and Great Movie Ride
Leave pretty early for lunch around noon at Homecoming at Disney Springs
back to Hotel for pool time and relaxing for flight later that evening

Benefits of version 1: We can sleep in until noon on 3/10, we get to see fantasmic, we prefer flying fish over chefs de france
Cons of version 1: May be hard to ride soarin without a long wait from 12-5, no fast passes for HS

Benefits of version 2: Fastpasses for HS, riding soarin at night will have a lower wait
Cons of version 2: No fantasmic, chefs de france is not as good as flying fish

I like plan 2.

I just think you're going to "feel" like you are getting more done if you are rope dropping on both days.

If you are staying at the 4 seasons, you will not be able to take advantage of the EMH (I dont think...iuts not a disney hotel, is it?). So if EMH are off the table, you may want to redraw those up.

Maybe rope drop HS on the 10th, then head to AK that evening and then use all day on the 12th to enjoy Epcot...or RD Epcot on the 12th and head back to HS for Fantasmic.

Pretty sure four seasons is not eligible for extra magic hours, or booking fastpass at 60 days out (I think it's 30), which may complicate getting a frozen fastpass.

Agree with PP, given the ages of your kids would they not prefer Test Track to frozen anyway?
Both plans are good, but given that your kids are older and you're not going whilst it's boiling hot I would definitely lose the going back to the hotel for a rest, and the lie-in. You can rest when you're home ;)

We did a throwaway room for the first night so we will have EMH (no need for a lecture on this, I already made this decision for myself). and we already have a frozen FP for 4:20-5:20 on the 10th. We personally don't really care for test track.

I would go with Plan #1. No way a 16 and 20 year old will wake up in time for rope drop if you are staying for MK after hours the night before.

I also agree with PP. We went to Frozen in Oct with a 9-year old girl and 11-year old boy and they thought it was lame. I think the demographic is much, much younger - like 2-5 year olds. I would switch your FP to Soarin.

I agree with switching the FP to Soarin. Frozen is not that exciting, it is kind of like the little mermaid ride at MK. Dont get me wrong Frozen is a nice little ride but Soarin is awesome.

My son's reaction to Test Track?

"When I'm a grown up I'm going to go and destroy Test Track so it doesn't exist any more."

He has a very, very solid hatred of it (as does my daughter).

Is frozen really not worth our time? We've never done it before and were able to score a fast pass so we figured we should try it out since it's had so much hype

My mom and I (both adults) really enjoy it, but Soarin is our absolute favorite must do! We have 2 Epcot days scheduled so we can have fast passes for both. We will try to do soarin stand by on our frozen day too. I say go with plan 1, and the week of your trip keep and eye on soarin wait times about the time of day you will be there. If wait times are looking pretty long, swap your fast pass a few days out. Soarin should still be available 3 or so days out. The wait times on soarin haven't been nearly as bad since they opened the 3rd theater, so there may be no need to worry about changing your fast pass!

We LOVED Frozen Ever After!!! And my kids are 13 and 14!

We rode it 3 times while at Epcot, and it was definitely worth it! I would have ridden it again if I'd gotten another fast pass!

I think it's worth trying, especially since you got a fast pass.

I see one big hiccup with version 1. That is there are no EMH evening hours listed for DS in March.
Kenny the Pirate mentioned this being a cut.
So if you want to get all 3 parks in you might have to go with version 2.

I like version 1, and based on your pros and cons, I think you do, too. I'd keep the Frozen FP. It's worth seeing and making your own opinions. Soaring is more manageable standby since they added the third theater.

I had totally forgotten about this! I just checked the hours for that day and there are no evening EMH at Hollywood Studios.

I read that they will most likely be announced soon? There are EMH on Friday evenings in February. When would they announce them??

om 3/10 MK all ready has morning EMH the chance that HS will have evening EMH I think is slim to none there is not major holiday that week that I know of so no need to have them. I just do not see it, just because a park had them one month dose not mean they will do it the next month.

I think if they do extend park hours it will be soonish ( like with in a week) just my guess but I would not give out much ope for evening EMH

just looked and they have morning at MK and evening at HS for February this surprises me but I think Disney would have said if they were doing it all ready or will soon keep your eyes out

I just checked a bunch of past crowd calendars for disney world and they have always had EMH on friday nights from what I can find. How does that make it not likely that they will have them if they have every month beforehand?

they have moved them around I go a lot and there have been time there are none there so it is not always but if you want to give out hope it will happen please do so. I can just tell you what I think. they may have them they may not
