Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah - Song of The South

I remember my Dad taking me to the movies when I was little. He took us to all the Disney movies and he would sing/whistle this tune forever. I still bring it up to him - 30 something years later!

I had to vote for Circle of Life - and I agree with you, catsrule, the movie version is the better of the two. That woman's voice is so powerful - it gives me goosebumps everytime (even now thinking about it) and I've even gotten teary-eyed hearing it because it is so moving.

This was a difficult choice though because all of these are great songs. The entire Little Mermaid soundtrack is great (I used to really get into Part of Your World when listening to it while doing chores), and I love When She Loved Me from Toy Story 2.

Oh, yeah, definitely. I saw the Broadway show when it debuted here in the Twin Cities on its way to Broadway. What an amazing show! And the performance of Circle of Life was unbelievable - it actually made me cry.
