Which has been the maximum weight and height of a child in a Disney stroller ? Do you have photos ? Can you post them ? I have a 5 year old child which weight is aprox 69 pounds. I am planning to visit Disney on December and would like to have a clear idea of how are the strollers that they rent in these parks.

In addition to Robo's link, I will add that I have seen multiple kids piled into a single stroller, even sitting on the awning part. I often wonder the weight limits when I see this. I can't believe some parents would allow this.

There's no posted weight limit, and I've seen ten year olds in those things. You should be just fine.

1) I have not heard of a weight limit in the Disney-rented strollers.
2) However, some 5-6 years olds are too tall for them.
3) They are molded hard-plastic, so there is no adjustment.
4) If too tall or legs/torso too long, kids
. . . could be hitting their head on the canopy
. . . might be dragging their feet on the pavement
5) You will just have to see when you get there.
6) Or bring your own from home (as long as it is collapsible).

is 46 inches tall

We rented a double last year, my kids were 5 (was 47inches & 50ish lbs) and 7 (was 50inches and 50ish lbs). The 5 yr old rode in it most of the time and the 7 yr old once in a while. After fireworks they both hopped in so we knew where they were and didn't have to worry about getting separated from them. It was also great for our cooler bag of water bottles. Yes I know 5 & 7 is too old for a stroller but we are commando and this is the most pleasant way to go , no complaining , I sure will miss that stroller next year, I LOVED it for the cooler bag!!!

Not sure about the onsite ones, but I know the baby jogger city mini strollers say 50 lbs max weight. My 6 year old 45 lb DD fit just fine. However, the disney ones looked even smaller from what I could see. I don't think it would be very comfortable for such a large child and that would be extremely difficult to push I would think. Maybe get a double stroller for the one child?

I would not think it would be comfortable for a child that big(height and weight). What I found when my son was 4 or 5, is that if I had a stroller, he would get in it, but if I didn't rent one, he was fine walking(did not ask for a stroller, etc). When we took him and his cousins, the kids were 6,4 and 2, but the 6yo was only around 45 lbs. The kids all took turns in the double stroller.

You know, if you're worried then maybe your kid should walk. Sounds like 70 lbs. at 5 years old needs to burn off some excess weight.

We used one after the fireworks (9:30pm) until Midnight on MNSSHP.

I have a 9 & 7 year old, they were in a double together, they weigh about 100lbs total. It was easy to push with both kids in it.

I don't know how comfortable it was for them, but they were tired & they wanted to be in the stroller!

HOW RUDE!!! Who are you to judge? Do you know this child or thier family?? I know a child who fits this discription and is on anti-rejection drugs for a kidney transplant. The steroids mean she is just going to carry that weight. She doesn't "need to burn off excess weight" and certianly could not walk all day in Disney, and I would be upset if anyone said something to that affect about her.

I agree, that post was completely uncalled for! :headache:

OP, your child will be able to fit, but you might consider a double stroller instead of a single. They will have more room for their legs (my DD at that age her legs were pretty cooped up in a single, and we found she was able to sit "criss-cross" style in the double very comfortably!) :thumbsup2

Hope you have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

Wow. I am totally offended by this post. :sad1:
OP, the stroller will be fine but the double stroller may be more comfortable. I hope your trip is amazing! :yay:
