Which is the maximum weight for a Disney stroller ?

Our DD4 used a double stroller Labor Day weekend. At the time she was 44 inches tall and weighed about 55 pounds. Because of her height, we got the double one. She actually curled up in it, put a blanket under her head, and took a nap. Kept it parked alot of the time, especially in Fantasyland and walked in between the rides. Disney is the only time we use a stroller any more and I can't seem to find one that supports her weight and length. When we go again in Nov/Dec, we will be renting for the length of stay which saves a few dollars per day off the rental fee.

You know, if you're worried then maybe your kid should walk. Sounds like 70 lbs. at 5 years old needs to burn off some excess weight.

Wow! And we wonder why so many children end up with negative body images! For all you know, the child could be very tall and perfectly proportioned. Even if they are not, how is it in any way your place to suggest a five year old lose weight? My DD5 is a peanut (41" tall, 41 lbs; 25% percentile in both); should I force feed her to get her to fit your image of the correct weight and height?

Sheesh...

Wow. You sure stuck your nose where it doesn't belong. I bet you think Michelle Obama's kids are too fat, too, just like she said to embarrass her poor girls on world wide TV. Show us a picture of yourself. I bet most of us could find something to make nasty comments about. How rude!

the child ***could*** have a medical reason for being at the weight he or she is. I can't believe you had the nerve to say to that:eek:

Have you checked out Orlando Stroller Rental? You can rent for the length of your stay, and they will deliver to your hotel. I rented a double stroller from them this past February for my two kids (6 and 2). I'm planning on renting a single stroller next spring for my 3 year old son who is 55 pounds already. Their "Classic Single" stroller states it holds up to 75 pounds. Just something for you to consider. Enjoy your trip.

Last December we took a MacLaren umbrella stroller and it worked great for my dd5 (she turned 6 the day after we returned from our trip). The weight limit on it is 55 lbs. but dd was over that (she was 72 lbs) and it pushed fine - even my 80 lb. ds8 climb in and it wasn't unbearably hard to push - and it didn't break. One night at DHS there was a bunch of abandoned strollers near the front and I was curious as to how dd5 would fit so I had her crawl in - her head hit the awning and her legs hung over the end - there's no way she could have rode in that.

A year later my my dd6 (about to turn 7) is now 71 lbs and 52 inches tall and her doctor is not in the least concerned and she doesn't look fat at all. Ds9 is 5'7" and weighs 80 lbs still. My ds used to be a tiny little skinny thing until he went on medication for migraines and gained 30 lbs. in one month (yes, it is possible).

Personnally, I would recommend you bringing a stroller or renting from an offsite company - you're child would probably me more comfortable.

I think your child will fit fine in a single stroller...I sat in one wtih my 2 year old on my lap heading out of MNSSHP..it was fun;)

Which has been the maximum weight and height of a child in a Disney stroller ? Do you have photos ? Can you post them ? I have a 5 year old child which weight is aprox 69 pounds. I am planning to visit Disney on December and would like to have a clear idea of how are the strollers that they rent in these parks.

I don't know how tall your kid is, but some of the strollers are uncomfortable for tall kids. Last I rented (when my kids were 5&7), they both kept dropping their feet out of the stroller & dragging them on the ground making it hard to push the thing.

So when they were 6&8 I made them walk.
