Which is the better Plan- UO.

Im checking in to the HRH for one night May 30th around 11 AM.

just me and my wife mid 40's....

Touring plans shows UO open till 9 on thurs. may 30th. UO websight shows 8...?

A. check in(11AM) and enjoy the food/drink/pool quick nap then off to UO 5-8 PM.
Iv been many times and love the old time favs.
E.T. Adventure, MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack, Revenge of the Mummy, Shrek 4-D, Terminator 2: 3-D, the Simpsons Ride, TWISTER...Ride It Out. Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem looks like a lot of fun-

B. check in around 11 AM drop off bags and head to UO spend about 5 Hrs.(extra 2) back to hotel quick nap then enjoy food/drink/pool maybe some shopping-

I prefer A just not sure if 3 Hrs or so is sufficient... the Pool sounds so much fun during the day(ESP.. after a 4 AM wake up and flight).. and the drinks-

I'd do the parks both days as much as I could. I can enjoy a pool/food/drinks/nap at home (or on the plane...well, not the pool part).

Thanks Damo.... Ill be spending 6 days in the disney parks and heard that the HRH pools are spectacular. so i guess my next question to help me decide is-

Is 3-4 hrs enough time to see and enjoy with Universal Express these attractions on a thursaday night May 30th-

We went the same dates last year and stayed at PBH so we had EP also. I don't remember any lines longer than 5-10 mins except for my friends riding Simpsons. But I wasn't in that line, that ride makes me sick. Most lines were almost walk on with Express.

on May 30th, the studios close at 9:00 but ioa closes at 8:00.

i just checked the website for your hours.



you can get a lot done in the 3 hour schedule.
use the express lines and that will cut out wait times.



hotel rooms are to be ready at 4:00.
if your room is not available when you check in, leave your belongings with valet and go to the park.

you can have the TM at the hotel send you a text or call when your room is ready and give you the room number.
that way, you don't have to return to the lobby for room info.

your hotel card will be activated so you can enter your room when you return.

it varies at each hotel.

some homies can get into their rooms when they arrive, some get in prior to 3, some have to wait until 4:00.


just depends when your room is ready.


if the room was empty the night prior, you won't be waiting for that room.


check out is 11:00.
some guests request a later check out, and AM EX packages allow a late check out.........if the room you are assign still has guests in it when you check in, you would not have access to the room.

valet can hold all your belongings while you go to the parks.

i've been very fortunate and have not had long waits for a room once i check in.
i check in, drop my belongings with valet and then hit the parks.
i usually get contacted by the hotel when my room is ready.
