Which is the better deal??

SO i got the pin buy 3 nights get the 4th free. We are staying at AKL lodge conc. level.

The guy who i booked thru gave me the package twice. (Since we are staying 8 days) So we got 2 nights free and 600 in gift cards?

BUT we had to buy 2 sets of 4 day tickets... (does that make sense?) Do you think thats a better deal then just doing one reservation and buying 8 day tickets? (we would lose the 4th night and 300 gift card?)

All I can tell you is that a one day base ticket can be figured at $81 each with tax. If you have a family of 4 it is $$324. I would get an 8 day ticket with the first package which is a lot cheaper than 2 four day tickets and the one day base with the second pkg and then with a family of 4 you are basically paying $24 for the extra night at AKL with the $300 gc. Then save the one day for a future trip. If you have no need for future tickets then I personally would think you would be better off with one package and one GC. Also take into account you have to be planning on spending at least $600 in the parks or you don't even need the two gift cards.

When do the tickets expire?

We are only doing basic dining plan, so I was thinking of using the gift cards for tips, extra food, snacks, stuff for the kids... that would prob be close.

If you are talking about changing it and getting one day tickets, they won't expire until they are used.

Did you have to buy the 4 day ticket on the second reservation in order to get the fourth night free? If not, change that ressie to a 1 day ticket, and swap the first reservation to an 8 day ticket. It should be way cheaper. The 1 day tickets will not expire so long as you do not run them through the gates while you are there. You can use them on another trip (when you do a room only reservation), and even upgrade them to a ticket with more days on that trip.

Dang, I just remembered this is the first deal that you can't do 1 day base tickets and need to do as many days as your stay to get the deal.

Honestly, I think one package with 8 day tickets will be cheaper. What you might want to do is go to the website and price a full price 7 night package (1 night free with the pkg) and 8 day tickets and see what the difference is between that price and what you were quoted for the two pkgs.

Why can't you book and 8 day package? If the Disney website won't book it at the resort you want for your dates it could be because it is sold out for one or more of your dates.

I called several different times. All times they said this package can only be booked for 4 nights? Weird, huh? That i had to book 2 packages?

That is weird considering it is advertised as a 5 nt package and they always allow longer stays on the package offers up to 14nts. It may be what you are asking for or a stipulation of the offer you are asking for. I just realized this is a pin deal which I assume was sent or emailed to you and not the one I thought it was available to the general public that doesn't give a free night but gives more on a gift card for a deluxe resort. The only other thing I can think you can try is to price that deal with code QGX and see if it comes out less expensive. Otherwise stick with what you are getting and enjoy knowing you are getting 2 nights free and the gift cards. Any discount is a good discount, right.
