Which is the best VALUE resort?

We are thinking of going el-cheapo (if that's possible for Disney ). Just for a quick trip before our blow out in December. Which value resort is the best? Thanks.

I've only stayed at the All Star Music and Pop, and I think that Pop is the best of the Values. All Star Movies looks OK, but the All Star Sports just doesn't interest me. Pop is newer than the other values, so it still have that new feel to it. It like the icons at Pop better than the ones at the All Stars, and I thought the food court at Pop was better than the one at the All Star Music.

have stayed there, as well as at the Music & Pop and hands down, the best was the Movies. We were in the Toy Story section and found it a quick walk to everything. There were plenty of choices in the foodcourt and the quality was very good. We were very pleased with Mousekeeping and our room was spotless every day before noon! This is our favorite value resort!!!

We stayed at Pop last November and were very disappointed. Did not get that Disney feeling, like at other resorts. The floors in the room were not vaccumed every day, some days the room was not cleaned until aor after 4pm and we were not really thrilled with the foodcourt (long, long lines and the pb & fluff sandwich was stale both times I tried it. Depending on which building you are in, it can be quite a hike to get to the main building.

They are all the same other than the themeing. I would suggest you go with whatever theming you like best.

We have stayed at POP and our kids have stayed at the other value resorts and we liked POP the best, because we enjoyed the food court area. We like eating outdoors in a pleasant atmosphere and this was the best (next to CSR)! But that is just our opinion. We say go for any of them, heck it's disney, none of them will let you down!

Pop for sure! We stayed there last year for a quick trip and thought it was eally clean and nice.

We have stayed at each of the value resorts. Our most recent stay was at Pop Feb 4th. Check in took us an hour. The line was HUGE when we arrived. Each check-in area was manned with a CM, but the wait was LONG. At breakfast, I had a hard time finding a table the 1st morning. Most people seem to eat between 8am and 9. The next moening did breakfast after 7am and easily found a seat. We only ate 3 meals at Pop, 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. We did not like the selection of food. DS wanted a quesadilla like he gets at the All star resorts and POR. So we ate all the rest of our meals elsewhere. When they did the rooms at Pop, they tweaked some of the things we didn't like at all star and fixed it. There are bars of soap and bottles of shampoo at Pop, instead of a liquid soap dispenser. One thing we did like about Pop were the 3 pools. The pools were heated and we swam even though it was 50 degrees outside. We had a great location for the room, it was in the Rubix cube section, 80's. We were just a hop skip and a jump from our car, the 80's pool and the food court. Many, many, many people walked by our room to either get to their car or the food court. We could hear everyone who walked by. Our last stay at an all star was ASMusic in September after all the hurricanes. We stayed in the Jazz building and it was awesome. We were close to the parking lot. The piano pool was a short walk away. The food court wasn't far either. We were on the 2nd floor and the room was very quiet. The food court had a great selection of food for my picky eaters. We have resies for April at Pop, but I'm seriously thinking of changing them to either POR or ASMusic because I don't want to deal with check in lines again.

I have to agree. We prefer Movies over POP. POP didn't feel as Disney to me. Once the newness of the icons wore off, it got old. We had to walk a long way to the bus and food court and the service we received at check-in was poor. The wait time for the bus was longer as well.

Pop Pop Pop ....we love it there!!! can you tell by how many times we have stayed there... shoot we venture away one time....off to a moderate and man we missed it.....cant go wrong there !!

Have stayed at Pop and AS Sports. Will definately stay at AL Sports again and would like to try AS Movies. Did not like POP at all!
