which is the best party, halloween or christmas

Theresa, I have done both and they are both good. It all depends on what Holiday you enjoy. I love both Halloween & Christmas. It's cool to see everyone dressed up but then again I love seeing it snow on Main Street during the Christmas Party.

Plus:
October - Food & Wine festival is also going on
December - Candlelight processional and Osborne Family Lights

My friends and I love both times. We always go the last week of Oct. but this year we are also throwing in a short weekend to see the Christmas events.

I'm probably not helping much. Again, though, if you like Halloween do that party. If you love Christmas, do that.

We've been to both multiple times, and we LOVE them both!

I think the Halloween party is our favorite, though. I'm not sure why, really. It's just so much fun! I love seeing everyone in costume and I love all the adorable Halloween decorations. Plus, I love the bad guys(and bad girls) - and they are out and about at the Halloween party. And, I just love Halloween in general, so that probably has a lot to do with it.

We've done both as well....I think either way you'll have a great time. Personally I love the Christmas Holiday season at WDW in general ~ so MVMCP would have to be my vote.

I think there is nothing better than the Christmas decorations at Walt Disney World. Like others have said there is also Candlelight Processional, Osborne Lights plus the holiday storyteller's in the countries at Epcot. Everything is so amazing. We are planning another trip for the beginning of December and can't wait!!!

I've never done either party, and this year finally get to do the halloween one.

However, I LOVE seeing the World all done up for Christmas. Epcot, the resorts, everything, all with the Christmas decorations, it's magical. If they can make it even more magical for the Christmas Party, well, that would have my vote.

I go for the Food and Wine festival, so the Halloween Party coincides with my trip this year. But if it was during Christmas, well, I'd be in heaven.

I have been to both parties and I absolutely love Christmas but believe it or not I liked the Halloween party better. I don't know why, but I just loved the whole atmoshere in the park. To me the park just seemed to capture the whole aura of Halloween. The Christmas party was absolutely beautiful also but I think for me the Christmas party was missing the cold tempurature. To me it does not seem like Christmas unless it is at least down to 40 degrees outside. :cold:

Here's another vote for Halloween...I also am not sure why, it just is super fun.
