Ok which character breakfast has the best food? We like pancakes, waffles, biscuit and gravy and french toast. DH also loves potato with cheese and bacon. Here are the ones we are debating on

Chef mickey's we are staying at CR
1900 Park Fare
Crystal Palace

If you can tell me about your food experince that would be great. DS loves all the characters so that isn't a issue.

I've found most of the buffets are very similar. My wife likes Crystal Palace the best because of the deep fried french toast, which is very yummy.

I would pick Cape May but going from your list I would pick CP

I love CM breakfast, plus the celebration is a lot of fun.

I have had good food at all of those. I do like 1900 Park Fare for the bread pudding and omlette station (cannot remember if CP has an omlette station, I know Chef Mickey's does not). I also agree with another poster who likes Cape May. That food was wonderful.

Based on your food preferences, I think any of those would do, I am pretty sure they all have biscuits and gravy. Although be aware, the biscuits and gravy at WDW are not the best! But I am from Texas so I have high standards!

Yes, the Crystal Palace has an omelet station (I think I spelled that wrong...sorry).

Hi, I have to say that for my family CP for Breakfast is a MUST do every time we visit WDW! We usually have an ADR for about 10:15am and leave so STUFFED that we do not eat again until DINNER time! Joan

Cape May is pretty good. I think that their assortment of fruit is the best of any WDW breakfast buffet.

I've heard the strawberry soup at 1900 Park Fare is wonderful! Plus CP has the breakfast lasagna and french toast...tough call!

I'd probably pick Crystal Palace!

1900 is so good! We love their food so much that we're going there even though we had been planning on doing an itinerary which involved new things that kids generally wouldn't appreciate but adults would.. kind of thing.

We'd decided to skip most of the character meals, because we knew that next year and in all of the foreseeable years to come, we'd most likely have my kids with us, so we'd planned to spend this year at the non-character restaurants. But we love 1900 so much we made ADR anyway.

And who am I kidding? I love the Mad Hatter anyway! LOL

Meanwhile, that was a really verbose way I just put that, wasn't it? LOL Sorry!

Not on your list but Cape May Cafe is hands down best for food choice and quality. Yum!

I got a 8:05 ADR on a day of 9 am park opening with no EMH that morning at CP. I decided getting into the park early would be neat plus since we are doing Garden Grill and 1900 for dinners this will give DS4 different characters to see.

Thanks for everyone's help!

I have not tried any of your places but I had dinner at 1900 PF last week and that strawberry soup is to DIE for. I had 3 bowls and was stuffed.:lmao:

We had breakfast at H&V the playhouse Disney breakfast and it was great but wild with tons of toddlers running around.

I prefer Crystal Palace over Chef Mickeys. We had breakfast at Chef Mickeys a few weeks ago and we were really disappointed. The food at Crystal Palace is much better.
