Which is easier, online or calling for ADR?

Online is so much easier.

About 1 1/2 months before our trip, I tried to get ADR online for T-rex at DTD. The only res they had available was 9:00 PM. I called them instead and got a 5:30 PM res. We were seated almost immediately. Less than 10 min. wait.

I'm not sure how this works with the other restaurants. Good luck!

This might be (and I'm just guessing) because when you put in a time, the system gives you a 2 hour window either way of the time you had put in. So if you had put in for example 8pm, the system looked for a time from 6pm-10pm if it didn't have exactly 8pm. Or it could have been someone just cancelled in the time between looking on line and calling. Yes it can happen as I just got a reservation last night for a perfect time for this Saturday for a restaurant we wanted. We had a time we didn't really want since it was a bit too early. I had checked ALL DAY for the past few weeks. Curious I checked very early morning for the one I cancelled and it was gone.

I would practice too booking online so you are comfortable with it and know what you are doing. You don't have to actually submit at the end.

Just booked our reservations online for our party of 11 for Christmas week. Got everything we wanted~ including CRT (had to get two separate ADRs, but they are for the exact same time). As long as the system is working, online is much quicker and easier~ don't have to go through all the prompts, wait on hold, and you certainly don't have to worry about being able to understand the castmember once you get to one.
I loved online this morning!!! :goodvibes

Can someone help me with on line res.? I have a very hard time with uit. Please tell me step by step. Thanks:scared1::confused3

Online is much easier. I just made the ADRs for my two trips (August and October---its a long story) and was able to get Le Cellier for both trips as well as Coral Reef.:cool1: I also got California Grill and Sanaa as well as my usuals: Les Chefs, Tutto Italia, Liberty Tavern, and Mama Melrose's (surprisingly difficult to get a reservation).:) So go online. You may get some surprises.:dance3:

When me and my mom went march 2011 when we were checking into the hotel the lady at the desk just made them for us but if you have a big group i would call or do it online

Online is easier.

If you want LeCellier book it first before any of the other ones. It & Ohana for supper seem to be 2 of the tougher ones to get. And they are both good!

I think CRT is easier to get than it used to be. I was even able to book it online this time w/o having my credit card charged!

Anyone have trouble trying to book online the last few days? I've been trying to practice as PP mentioned, but I just keep getting the "Searching for Tables" and it stays that way.:confused3
