Hey Dis friends! I am not familiar with the EPCOT resort area at all and looking for some advice. We are trying some new places during our Jan. stay, and I'm not sure how to work it. We have an ADR at Cape May and we plan to spend that evening after dinner checking out the Boardwalk. I just made an ADR for Yachtman's Steakhouse for our last night. I have nothing planned after YS yet and wondering if one restaurant is closer to the Boardwalk than the other. I'm not really sure what to do after YS. Maybe check out Illuminations from a viewing spot around the hotel? Please help...I am clueless on this one! :confused3

Thanks so much!

They are both in the same vicinity, and both similar distance to the BW. On the night you check out the Boardwalk, you can also go see the Swan and Dolphin, both are right there too. Also, the boat goes from the resorts to DTD. The other night I would walk back to Epcot for the evening...its a very short walk. If you happen to be there over the holidays don't forget to see the chocolate carousel at the BC!

Thanks! I think we'll try and catch Illuminations after our Cape May dinner. Do you have any suggestions as to where we should go to watch?

We'll do the Boardwalk thing after our YS dinner. Seems like a fun thing to do our last night.

YSH and CM are equal-distance from BW. It just depends on which end of BW you are talking about. They are arranged around a circular lake that is easily walked.

We usually try to snag a spot near Mexico or Italy for Illuminations. Stay away from The American Adventure...bad viewing area. Have fun!!

Cape may is in Beech club and it is next to Yachts club and both walking distance to Boardwalk and if you walk up the hill can see Illuminations from the bridge pretty well so everything you have mentioned is in same area:cool1:

Cape May and Yachtsman are on opposite ends of the same building. So they're practically equal distance from BWI. You could walk or take a boat.

Illuminations isn't really viewable from outside Epcot. You can see some of the high fireworks, but you won't get even half the show since a lot of the action happens in the World Showcase lagoon near ground level.

Here's a map made by the user Robo showing the Epcot area resorts. Yachtsmans Steakhouse is in the Yacht Club and Cape May is in the Beach Club.
