Which is closer/easier on Disney Transportation

Looking at Renting a car (two one way rentals) vs. hiring a TownCar/Limo to get from POFQ to Port Canaveral (Carnival, NOT Disney Cruise). Finding options at Dolphin Resort or Walt Disney Car Care. We have never stayed at POFQ- can anyone tell me which pick up location is going to be more easily accessible via Disney transportation for DH to pick up, and come back to POFQ to get us?

You don't have to use Disney transportation to travel between POFQ and a car rental location. Many car rental locations on or near the WDW property provide local pick-up and drop-off-service.

A bigger issue is the Port Canaveral end, where not all car rental companies are represented.

If I was at PO, and needed a rental car to head to port, I think I would use Budget, and take the boat to DTD, and walk over to the Doubletree and rent there. Or, they also can send a shuttle for you.
Not sure if you'll be returning the car upon arrival at port. Budget has a great shuttle service at port..very easy and very frequent.

Problem solved! My friend is joining us for cruise only, & flying in the night before. She was able to get a minivan from MCO for only $77! She will just pick us up that morning. Then on the return we got a minivan for $90. So $167 for all 5 of us to & from!
