We are soon-to-be new DVC members and are planning our June trip. This question is something new to me. If we need to add just one day to our stay and pay cash, do DVC members get a discount and if so, how much (going first 2 weeks in June)?

I beleive it's a 25% members cash discount.

Potentially but it's not guaranteed and is subject to availability. It only applies to cash reservations through MS WHEN THEY SAY OK and never to CRO reservations. Thus MS may have a cash room and you still may not be able to get a member discount.
