Which is cheaper? help please!

We are going to Disneyland Feb 20-26th and I was wondering if it's cheaper to buy park hoppers on the Disneyland website or at the gate? Do you get some kind of a discount if you buy them online? Just wondering because we're REALLY going to have to pinch pennies this vacation so that's why I ask. Thank you!

Buy them online. They are more at the gate. I can't recall how much more, but it seems like it's a 10-20% increase.

I don't know what the price difference is but it's better to buy online anyway so you don't have to wait in line at the ticket booths. If you buy the tickets off the disneyland website you just print the paper and give it to the CM at the turnstiles who will give you your actual ticket. Very easy.

I agree with PP's. Absolutely get them online. They are also having the "everyone plays for kid's price" promo right now, which you won't be able to get at the gate.

I assume that you are going in February 2010? If you are, you want to purchase the promotional tickets at $173. The promotion is that everyone pays the kid price, which is why there is no difference between the cost of an adult ticket and one for a child. The promotional "everybody pays kid's prices" is not available at the gate, so you will have substantial savings purchasing these over the web. However, these tickets must be used by, essentially, the end of April 2010. So if you were going after that date, these would not work. The second ticket is valid through January 2011. So if you are not going until February 2011, you need to wait to buy your tickets.

If you were to visit Dl. the 29Th of April, that would begin your first official visit. So you could visit during Feb. as well, because Disney accepts the promotional park hopper tickets up to 13 days after first use, but again, that first use must occur on or before April 29 Th 2010.

Ticket valid beginning January 5, 2010 and first day of use must occur on or before April 29, 2010. These tickets expire 13 days after the first day of use or May 12, 2010, whichever occurs first, and each day of use constitutes one full day of use.

Someone just posted the other day that lastminutetravel.com had much cheaper tickets. Forbes rated them a top company, so they are legit. If we buy our tickets through that site we will save $72!
