Which is better?

Hi,
In deciding which to stay at I decide to post a poll and let you all have a say! I know these are sister resorts and some even say they are just one large resort. If possible please post why you voted the way you did.

I can't vote in the poll 'cause I haven't stayed in either resort....yet. Just wanted to say, I chose POR for my trip in Sept. I will visit POFQ for those beignets though!!

I haven't stayed at either, but if I were to choose one it would be POFQ because it is smaller and is first on the bus route. HTH!

We have never stayed at either, but we have visited both. We preferred POFQ if we were to ever change our resort.

POR is the best of the two. We have stayed at both but loved the mansions at POR the best. POR is the most relaxing of all the resorts to us and DH said of all the WDW Resorts, POR is his favorite!! (which makes for a happy trip for ME!!!)

We've stayed at both, POFQ is our favorite Moderate.

I've stayed at both, and POR is my hands-down favorite. POR has a much better pool area, better gift shop, and has a sit down restaurant. Plus I like the grounds much better. There are lots of trees and plants, and it really makes you feel secluded. A true escape from the frantic pace of the parks.

I have stayed at both resorts and both are very nice for different reasons. For our family of 5, obviously POR is the best option. We like the pool at POR the best. POFQ is more laid back and is a smaller resort.

We've stayed at both. First of all, they're both beautiful resorts and I'd be happy at either one of them. But, they are different.

If you like everything to be close together with not much walking, you'll like POFQ. It's very compact. We liked POR better b/c we don't mind walking and I found it more relaxing b/c things were more spread out. There was more green space and just more "nature." We were in Magnolia Terrace, and I thought that was a good location...not too far from anything. If I'd been in another part of the resort, I might have felt differently about the spaciousness of the resort. Or if I'd had very young children with me.

Both the pools were cool, but younger kids will love the dragon slide at POFQ. But you can switch pools. When we stayed at POR, we mostly swam at POR, but on our last morning we went to POFQ and swam. I couldn't get ds out of the pool, I remember.

POR has the sit down restaurant. Not a big deal for us, but it might be for you. On the other hand, POFQ has the beignets!

POR was our first WDW resort stay, so that makes it special to us. Plus, they'd just redone all the room furnishings when we were there, so it was super clean and new.

I'll vote for POR, but POFQ is a lovely resort, too.

We've stayed many times at POR but last year tried POFQ for the first time and loved it!!!

Loved it so much that we're back there again this September

boy - tough question - probably POR it is my favorite of the moderates - why is harder to say.

like the restuarant being right there. like the layout of the resort. the food court is little better. the gift shop is alot better.

like the entertainer in the lounge better.

POFQ has one pool, POR has 5 quiet pools plus the main pool. I prefer a quiet pool.

POR for certain! It is not only our favorite moderate, but one of our favorite hotels in Disney. We love the theming - it always feels so relaxing and lush. The food court is great and my kids love the pool!

I voted for POR - it's one of my favorites. I love the beautiful landscaped grounds and the food court was great.

We've stayed at both and liked both. I would give a SLIGHT edge to POFQ just because it's a smaller resort. We got stuck one time at one of the out buildings at POR and the walk was a longgg way to the food court. POR is the quieter of the two. You couldn't go wrong with either! Sorry...that's not much help!

I picked POR for our trip. I orignially wanted POFQ because it was small and first bus stop, but mom wants Riverside. I looked at the pictures and we both like the mansions, plus we will rent a car and not have to worry about bus issues!
