We are planning for 10 nights around 4/18-4/28/08. Would like to stay at a mod. preferably POFQ. Last April we received the free hopper/water park upgrade promotion. My question is this... Would a AAA discount be more of a savings then a free ticket upgrade again? We need to have the park hopper whether we get the upgrade or not? I don't know what the AAA discount usually is? I know that those dates are considered "regular" season. Thanks for your help!:thumbsup2

We booked POFQ through AAA for our upcoming trip (Nov 26-Dec 2, which I think is value season) - discount was 20% on rooms only. No discount for park tickets. I think they have specific rooms set aside for their discount so the alotted rooms at a particular resort could be gone for a certain time frame - we had 1st, 2nd, 3rd choices for resort just in case. However, POFQ was our 1st choice and they readily had 2 rooms at the discount rate.

Thanks for your responses. I was aware that the AAA discount was only on the rooms. I'm sorry I guess I didn't word the question correctly. I wanted to know if the overall savings on the room with the AAA discount was more than the expense of adding hoppers to 2 adult and 2 children 10 passes so that if the free upgrade became available again I would know whether or not to book that or just use the AAA room discount.
