We have been to florida twice and both times went in march!! I like the idea of November so we can see the xmas stuff in the parks but was wondering if the crowd levels are better or worse??
Also does anyone know how long americans are out of school for for thanksgiving???
Thanks guys cant belive im planning another trip 7 days after coming home from the last :banana:

Crowd levels will be given on touring guide site or touring plan something like that but you have to subscribe to the site or buy the unofficial guide to Disney. I cannot comment on crowd levels between the two because I have not been in those months.

However, I would say it is well worth, at least once, seeing the Christmas decorations at Orlando. We went in December and were blown away by them, it wasn't as busy as when we normally go (July) and the weather was really nice, though water parks/rides should be given a miss.

I personally like November, the weather is usually comfortable rather than March where it can sometimes get hot for going round the parks even though you adjust to it. Thanksgiving is at the end of November and kids are only out of school for about a week I believe. If you can go right at the beginning of November you will definitely enjoy lower crowd levels than in March as that is Spring Break time. Then if you overlap the Christmas decorations that is a huge bonus! They started the Christmas stuff later last year so you should check on the dates. Big thumbs up to November from me! :thumbsup2

I'm loathe to say this but go immediately after Thanksgiving-the Chrimbo decs are up and up to probably the end of Novemeber it will be dead in the parks-the crowds usually get worse around the 1st of December and there is the dreaded POP WARNER :scared1:lot to contend with if you stay at the AS resorts, but its the most wonderful time of the year (cue music:goodvibes)

Thanks guys!!
Wicket 2005 it was your trip report that made me want to do the whole christmas thing at wdw!! I believed Tinkerbell was real by the time wdw had don their magic so cant wait to see santa claus!!

I am pleased my report had that affect, you certainly wouldn't regret going at that time of the year and I think everyone should go at least once if they can.:goodvibes
