Which interstate exit has the main gate sign?

If you did come in through the Reams rd entrance my question is how did you even get back there,that street leads mostly to residential areas that don't have very close access to the more traveled streets.

I'm honestly not sure. The GPS told us if we went a different way it would be faster, so we took it.

We come in through the Western Way, and there's a big Welcome sign (where you cannot stop), but then you immediately pass through a landfill/dump. It's stinky-- I've always thought it's a strange way to welcome guests. Lol

I'm pretty sure you came in the same way we did last time. Seen all kinds of backlot style buildings and warehouses and then all of a sudden we were by resorts. It was so weird. lol

Western Way is the newest official entrance. That area was intended to be developed with hotels, shopping, etc. Like a Downtown Disney II.

I don't recall the landfill or any bad odor; it was ca 2005 that I was out there.

When the Osceola Parkway entrance (from Toll 417 exit 3 and also from I-4) was opened, it, like Western Way is today, was mile after mile of emptiness after the welcoming arches (except for ESPN Wide World of Sports off in the distance on the left) Then you came to signs of life, namely the interchange with World Drive. Pop Century was added a few years later.

We'll be staying at Art of Animation and if I'm coming from the north-west on Florida's Turnpike, it sounds like the faster way will be for me to take 429 from the turnpike (instead of I4) to Western Way.

Ideally I'd like to drive through the one at World Dr. Would it be much of a detour to go 429 > 192 > World Drive, versus going 429 to Western Way? Google maps says it's only about 6 minutes longer to go through World dr. Is that accurate?
