Now that i have paid for my holiday (:cool1:), i need to get my insurance asap.

The one thing that i would like is cover for things such as the ash clouds or a similar thing happening as i really wouldn't like to be in the situation my friends were in last year.

I would also like to book online.

Any ideas?

You have a few options. There was a thread a week or two back on Columbus Travel which came up in quite a favourable light amongst those who commented on that thread. I went with Direct Travel again.

There is an option to add on Natural Catastrophe cover. It is not cheap at £20 extra per person, but I am not sure that many people, give the option right now, would choose to travel without it.

What is nice with them is that they do give the option to taylor your policy cover to suit your needs. So you can remove certain cover, like luggage for example (check your household insurance - many home contents cover policies include this). I just took the full package with them. I am known for over insuring and I am fine with that

Found that thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2726409
