Ok, I am headed down on 9/19, so I checked some news reports on the weather channel and it showed projected paths for all 3 upcoming storms....they are saying Hanna will make landfall this friday night/early saturday morning on the Carolina coast.....Ike it showed south of Florida Sunday night, they were saying possibly the same path that Gustav took and Josephine was tracking West Northwest by Sunday evening and could possibly just go into the North Atlantic....Hope this helps!!! I felt a little better, I wish they would all just fizzle out
I declare that Disney should not allow admission to anything with Hurricane in its name! And rain should also be band from falling over Disney property.
what do you think?
Ok a little rain but only while the park is closed.

I was watching The Weather Channel last night and they had a doctor who is a hurricane specialist on. He was showing that Hanna will be hitting S. Carolina this week; Ike will probably go further south and Josephine will probably just go up into the mid Atlantic area. So I am thinking we may be GOOD TO GO for 9/12 - 9/19 (which is when I will be there at the Poly!!)
My dates are around yours. I have resigned myself to the fact that it will be Ike. Not based on scientific fact of any kind but based on the fact that my pesky little brother is named Ike and if anything will mess up my trip.. it will be named Ike
I've been trying not to think about it too much since we're not going for two more weeks, but I have to admit that I'm a little worried too!! What's the farthest they've ever gone in the alphabet for the names?!
For all of us and of course for all of those who have to live with the constant threat!

Not to worry you too much, but about three years ago (the year of Katrina), they got into the Greek alphabet storm names (Alpha or Beta) because they ran out of the normal 21 names. This year isn't going to be that bad.

Oh, man. I was just looking at weather.com for this very reason! I declare that there shall be no hurricanes, tropical storms, or anything related to them September 15-25!!!
