I know this question comes up a lot, but was just looking for some opinions. We are planning on 7 nights in May. We are 2 adults and 4 kids (age range 1-13). Right now I am looking at

Desert Inn and Suites- 2 bedroom family suite- looks large. 4 queen beds, 2 bathrooms.

Park Vue Inn- 2 queens and a queen pull out. 1 bathroom but better breakfast. 2 rooms so decent space.

Best Western Park Place Inn- 2 queens and a pull out, all in one room. This appears to be the cheapest option by over $300- is the breakfast and location worth the lesser cost and smaller room.

I'm leaning toward Desert Inn due to the 2 bathrooms, but am not loving what I have read about the breakfast.

Any recommendations?

I vote for BWPPI primarily because you have a very young child and 1 of the adults could take the little one back to the room for a midday nap and the other adult could stay at the parks with the other 3 kids. Plus, since it's $300 less, that's $300 more to spend on souvenirs and meals. So if you decide that you want to do one of the Fantasmic! meal packages, you can afford easily afford it.

BWPPPI is the best of the bunch.

I would not let breakfast be a deciding factor over sleep quality.

I totally agree with the others. This is my go-to place. Don't like that they charge for parking tho.

I vote Desert Inn. As soon as you said 6 people I thought, "2nd bathroom." It's right next to Park Place, so the distance is negligible. For 7 nights, you'll want the extra space. Breakfast isn't a deciding factor for me, but I understand with 6 people it adds up. If your kids are happy with things like cereal, fruit, granola bars, I'd just use those to supplement the hotel's breakfast.

...BUT if your 1-yr-old is a light sleeper and if your teenagers want/need the extra space, then go for one of the options that has 2 bathrooms.

On the other hand, eventually, your little one will likely fall asleep in the stroller so it might not be a factor. Definitely depends on your situation and the people in your family. ;)

I have stayed at BWPPPI many times. It is our go to hotel. We love the quick walk for taking kids back in the middle of the day for naps. Breakfast is great. I have stayed there with 4 adults and 2 kids and had no problems, the vanity area is big enough for 2-3 people to get ready at a time and is outside of the bathroom. If we didn't want to get up early a few of us would get ready while a few went to breakfast and then we traded. It worked just fine for us.

My teenager!! :scared: She has only been a teen for about 2 weeks- it took me by surprise to see it written out like that- I need to get used to that :lmao::goodvibes

Thanks for all the info- I think I have dropped Park Vue from consideration. I have reservations at the other 2 and can decide for sure in the coming weeks. I know I would love 2 bathrooms, but I also think we could manage with one. (especially if the vanity area is outside) I feel like overall I read more positive things about BWPPPI, but have read that people love Desert Inn as well.
