We are leaving next friday and I have reservations now at about 5 hotels. :surfweb:

I cant choose! I have the Hampton Inn and suites but I dont want to pay for the shuttle so then that made me start looking. I have reservations at the Hyatt, Stovall Inn, Anaheim Inn, Anaheim Plaza and Desert Inn and Suites. I have good rates at some and ok rates at others. Some have breakfast some dont. Some you can walk some you cant. I think I have overwhelmed myself :lmao:

Since the reason you even started looking around was the distance factor I'd pick one of the closer ones. Between those which offers breakfast? And go from there :) Or which has the better rate?

good point. I am priniting out all the reservations and then go over price and breakfast. Or draw straws :rotfl:

Now I have added HOJO to the list. Everyone seems to like this hotel. I really could use some advice on all these.

What ammenities are most important to you? Make a list of them and then check off each of your 6 hotel choices. I bet if you let the board know your ranked list of important ammenities, peole will be able to rank your hotels for you vs you going into each hotel website and writting down all the ammenities, etc

For me I look at (not necissarily in this order)
price
closeness to parks
room size
fridge
microwave
pool

breakfast is not important to me, but may be to you
laundry facilities, not important to me but may be to you

I would never choose breakfast at a hotel as a main reason to stay there. It's just never going to be much good, ya know? Well there's one way down on Harbor that seems to have a hot breakfast, but then you can't easily walk it.

I would go with Desert Inn for the extreme closeness, or HoJo b/c it's just a good place and is totally walkable (maybe 5 minutes from the parking lot longer than Desert Inn).

But then Stovall, once you're on Disneyland Drive, is probably the prettiest walk of them all!

My top 2 choices for proximity are HoJo and Candy Cane Inn. CCI has breakfast and a free shuttle.

For my May 2008 trip to DL we stayed 3 nights at the Annabella and then moved over to Paradise Pier. I LOVED the Annabella. Lovely place, staff couldn't do enough for us and spacious rooms
