I was due to go to WDW with my autistic son in a months time but after much soul searching and discussion we have cancelled our trip. We both suddenly remembered how much we hate flying! Now the stomach ache has gone we are looking to visit Paris this summer, just the two of us. We went before a couple of years ago and my son had a real problem with the hoardes of people at breakfast (we stayed at the Sequoia Lodge). Has anyone got any suggestions about an alternative Disney hotel which may prove to be less busy at breakfast?
Thanks

I think the breakfast crowds are big at one point in all the hotels. You will just have to find out the not-so-busy times! But don't stay at Santa Fe, out of all the DLP hotels I've stayed at, that one was the worst when it comes down to busy breakfast.

The Hotel New York might be a good option if you could afford it as when I last went the breakfast here was served in one of the conference rooms which was larger therefore did not seem crowded.

At Davy Crockett Ranch you can enjoy you breakfast in the luxury of your

own cabin :thumbsup2

admittedly you need to have transport to the parks but after visiting several

of the hotels for meals we loved the quiet sanctuary of our own cabin.

Or alternatively, any of the Disney onsite or associated hotels, but with an early breakfast time (ie 7am up to around 7.45am - its after that the hotel restaurants get busy at breakfast time).

I've gone for breakfast at both the Cheyenne and Santa Fe at around 7.20am, and there were no queues for anything. No more than about a dozen tables being used in the whole place, but certainly starting to fill up by the time we left at 7.45ish.

Quietest options would be Disneyland Hotel castle club, Disneyland Hotel or Hotel New York :)
....or Newport Bay Club Admiral's Floor (for a cheaper option)? I haven't been to DLRP for a while now, but when we stayed on the Admiral's Floor you could choose to have breakfast delivered to your room for a small fee to save facing the crowds in the restaurants. Definitely something I would recommend! :thumbsup2

I'd forgotten about that option Frances :thumbsup2
