Which hotel would you stay in?

I'm still in the thinking stages for next years trip (I'm thinking around Easter time or maybe slightly earlier). Trying to decide at the moment between SL and NBC. We've stayed in a standard room in the SL before, but never Newport Bay. Which would you choose? I think if we go with SL we'd go with a Golden Forest room for a change. Does anyone know how the two compare? Would we be better to avoid the NBC while refurb work is going on?

The refurbishment of the NPBC is scheduled be finished by Jan 2016, so by Easter it will be all finished. The NPBC will have a Golden Forest style service with it's Compass Club rooms and a lounge operational in Jan 2016 so the NPBC will be a viable option for you.

I'd go for the Newport. The rooms are better than SQL in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice. I do love the look of the Newport Bay, I'd just be afraid that the refurbishments would go on longer than planned, and we'd end up at a far end of the hotel, or there'd be scaffolding outside our room.
