I'm just curious which hotel you guys would stay at? An Onsite Disney hotel or good neighbour hotel/motel?
Probably offsite. If you're going to be in the parks as much as possible...
I've seen enough people come here planning honeymoon trips that claim they're going for 2-3 days and planning as much park time as possible to know that at least half of a lot of couples think that's how their trip will go.If they are on their Honeymoon...I home they are NOT in the parks as MUCH as possible!

I love Grand Californian the best, but it can be very noisy because your room will likely either be overlooking DCA, Downtown Disney or the pool area. When we spent a few nights in a room (VGC Villa), we were so tired of the World of Color soundtrack. Even with all doors and windows closed, the sound was loud in our room.
We went to Disneyland for our honeymoon. We stayed at Park Vue Inn (on Harbor right across from the parks.) We booked one of the 2 jacuzzi rooms with a king bed. It was very romantic between park visits. Jacuzzi was in a corner with full mirrors. Complimentary gift basket was there upon arrival. PM if you have any questions!
How funny. I was about to come say the same thing. We did PVI, jacuzzi suite for our honeymoon too! Our room was about $225-250/night.
The money we saved over staying onsite allowed us other experiences that we wouldn't normally be able to afford (namely, Blue Bayou and Carthay Circle in the same trip, with other nice places as well).
I'll point out that we were on a fairly tight budget overall, since mortgages and car payments don't stop just because you've got a wedding and honeymoon that year ;-)
