Which Hotel Should I Choose?

I plan to take my wife and kids to Disney World in August and I can't decide on which hotel. The kids are ages 9, 14, and 17. I would like to get a suite but I would also prefer a hotel that has a nice bar to visit in the evening.

I have narrowed my search to three choices:

Wyndham Palace Resort (800 SF Suite) $169/night

Embassy Suites LBV $139/night

Summerfield Suites 2 Bedroom Suite Trio $139/night

I like the idea of the 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms at Summerfield but I would prefer it better if it was more like a resort.

Does anyone know if the 800 SF suite at Wyndham Palace has 2 bathrooms or 1?

Also does the Wyndham Palace have more square feet than the Summerfield?

I also like the idea of the free breakfast and happy hour at the Embassy Suites LBV. Are these available at Wyndham Palace also?

Thank you!
Bobby

Bobby, I've been at the Embassy and Summerfield this year and would be hard-pushed to choose between the two. Summerfield has better pool and slightly bigger rooms, but Embassy is that bit smarter and offers a great breakfast. Either way, I don;t think you can go wrong, they are both good preoperties. Can't honestly comment on the Wyndham, however.

The Summerfield Suites offers free continental breakfast and you can order waffles or omelets for an addtiona charge. Also remember that the SS will have a full kitchen with a full size fridge. You can stock it with all the snacks and items that your family likes. It also includes cooking utensils, pots and pans. Having a 2nd bathroom will also be a big help trying to get 5 people ready in the morning.

I love Embassy Suites hotels but they are business hotels. I stay on business all the time but would not want to put a family of 5 in one room. You would have one bedroom and one bathroom. They have small dorm size fridges and small micro. No plates, utensils, pots or pans.

From what I understand the free hot breakfast at the ES in the Disney area is a mad house in the morning. The free happy hour is nice but you could also just stop at the grocery and pick up a case of beer and a few bottles of wine with what you would save staying at the SS and still have money left over. Also at SS you would have two bedrooms and 3 TVs.
