We were going to rent a hotel room at the MCO Hyatt but its still hovering around $269 before taxes for 2 people, and we can rent one in Port Canaveral for a lot less. Plus we are paying for the disney transfer to and from the airport. There is four adults (two couples) going and we are just trying to stay within budget and have extra money to spend while ON the cruise instead of spending more before we even start. We would need either a suite or two separate rooms. We were just wondering if there were any hotels that offer shuttle service from the airport to their hotel (i.e I noticed Residence Inn on their website doesnt do shuttles to and from MCO to the hotel only to the port).

I don't think any of them offer a free shuttle service. The airport is an hour away. From experience the Hyatt and Disney transfers are the best option in terms of ease.

The other option would be to rent a car at MCO and drive yourselves down to Port Canaveral. You can then return it at the port. Most of the rental car agencies have an office in Port Canaveral.

The comfort inn doesn't offer free shuttle service but if you book a room it seems pretty reasonably priced. They pick you up from mco, take you to the hotel, take you to the port, then take you back to the airport from the port when you return.

As Happy100 said, I don't believe any of the Port Canaveral area hotels will offer free shuttle service to/from MCO because it is no short haul. It's possible one or two can suggest a transfer company, but it won't be free.

Would you want to look into staying at another hotel near MCO? We generally stay near there and get a two-bedroom suite with free breakfast for our large family at Homewood Suites. You get a shuttle from MCO to the hotel, then a shuttle back to the airport in the morning to pickup a rental, DCL transfers, or whatever you need to do. This works well for us and you can often find much better prices than at Hyatt MCO. I believe the last time we paid about $142. It was very clean and staff were friendly. Couldn't beat the price for our group.
