Which Hotel at Christmas Time?

So we are going to Disneyland in Sept and again next August (with my parents). We are going to upgrade our tickets to annual passes when we go in Sept so I thought it would be perfect to take a short trip at Christmas time since we have always wanted to see the resort at Christmas time and we will already have tickets. Now, where should we stay? We normally stay at the DLH, so I wanted to do something different. I was wondering how the decorations are at GCH? If we stay there, I could probably afford only one night. What about PPH? Any offsite hotels have magical holiday feels? Any advice is much appreciated!

Can anyone tell me what the weather is like? I am planning our trip for the 1st week in December. Thanks!

IMO .... GCH is by far the nicest of the resorts for Christmas.

They even have Carolers ... This pic was taken last year in the CL Lounge when we stayed there but they also perform in the lobby by the Christmas tree.
