Which HHN peak night is less busy: Friday or Saturday?

I went to HHN this year and took the VIP Tour on Friday and bought a regular ticket on Saturday. Friday seemed less busy than Saturday, even though there were a lot of people on both nights. Ride lines seemed pretty short on Friday -- 5 minutes for JPRA at 9 pm, 20 minutes for Spider-Man at around 9:30 or 10, 10 minutes for Hulk at around 11:15. Crowds dropped over substantually after midnight. The haunted houses' lines seemed pretty long until then. Cat in the Hat had a 5 minute wait after midnight. Storm Force had a 5 minute wait then too. I left around 12:30 on Friday.

Saturday was a different story -- wall to wall people! Dueling Dragons had a 65 minute wait around 11 pm. The Hulk had a 110 minute wait around that time! The houses had a 45-75 minute wait all night. I left around 1:30 that night.

I remember going in past years. Once I went on the first HHN night on a Friday and crowds were not too bad. Then I went on a Saturday and it was wall to wall people! So for those who are at HHN a lot or work the weekends, how are Friday HHN crowds compared to Saturday's? Is it more managable on Friday than Saturday?

I went on 10/11 and 10/12, BTW.

Both nights have been selling out, but it seems busier on Saturdays. Figure that one out!?!

saturdays are usually more insane. especially if you went last night...

Barry,
Sat. nights are always busier. It's just the nature of the beast, most people have weekends off. Friday's most people work, have to cash paychecks, are tired from working all day, etc. Sat. night at HHN are historically the busiest nights, especially at the end of the month, this coming weekend should be slammed!
