Our DD12 :cutie: loves the Passporter! Before our trip she will sit after dinner and read through each section, peppering us with different questions on the parks, resorts and restaurants. I think the Passporter's plain language and kid friendly approach makes it the better cjoice.:thumbsup2

I love my Passporter dearly, and dd (6.5yo) enjoyed looking at the maps w/ me...but for her agegroup the Guide to the Magic is much more appropriate. She loves the short descriptions and the interactivity (stickers, space for reviews, etc.) of the book.

And it makes a great journal for the trip! We save little things like ticket stubs, place mats etc. Also, being the financial guy, I love the fact I can shove all the receipts into the daily pouch and total everything up after the trip. That way we know how much to budget each trip!:thumbsup2

I have three kids who each got a different form of Guide to the Magic books for Christmas and I love them all. They are hands down the neatest books for kids I've ever seen. I had to order all three of them from the website, couldn't find them anywhere else. We got the regular GTTM for kids, the Journal and the Lost something or other. We've had the Birnbaums for kids in the past and the kids weren't interested in it at all after the first time they looked at it. GTTM books have a lot of activity written into them.

Well, based upon on of the recommendations, I just ordered the Guide to the Magic for Kids. I gave the kids the Birnbaum book at Christmas but I decided to get them the Guide to the Magic also.

Thanks for all of the advice!:yay:

My Guide to the Magic for kids came in this week. It looks very interesting and very interactive for them. Thanks everyone for the suggestion.

Well, I ended up giving the kids the Birnbaum guide but I may still pick up the Guide to the Magic and give it to them later.

They were very happy when the opened the present from me and found out that they were going to Disney!

Good thing that they were happy :) The book sounds like a great choice!

Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids, by Kids 2008 ~ We bought this for DD(4) and she loves all the pictures in it.
