Which grocery store should I use, Publix or Alberton's and which one is closer?

I think we usually use Albertson's on the way from MCO, but this time we are flying into Jacksonville and driving. Also, do you know if they both have a Deli section?

We've been using Publix for years and think their prices are the best (comparable to home). We like the store near AKL, maingate off of Black Lake Road. They are everywhere....I think there is also one near the outlets (Little Lake Bryan area). I know they have a deli.

Where is Publix, please, in relation to OKW. We usually stop at the Albertson's on the way from MCO, but this time we're staying off-site the night before (Buena Vista Suites) then checking in to OKW the next morning. Grocery shopping the night before just wouldn't do! Thanks.

We have been using the new super wal mart right outside downtown disney here are the directions from BWV


From BWV, take a right out of the resort, left at Buena Vista, continue past CBR and Bonnet Creek and take the exit to 536 (Epcot Center Blvd). Get into the left lane on 536 until you pass the I-4 exits. When you get to 535 turn right for the new Walmart, it's about a mile down the road.

Publix rocks. Especially if you like anything organic, exotic, or fresh.

We used to also shop at Super Walmart, but there is a Super Target right down the street from SWM, it is much nicer.

When we shop for the week it's Super Target, then Sams Club (for gas also-cheaper than anywhere else) then Publix. I miss Publix. We don't have them in NC.

Whatever you do avoid Albertsons. Highway robbery!!! I could not believe it. $4 for a 2 liter of Coke.

We like the Winn Dixie. It's easy to get to. Go to downtown disney and make a left. Go to the end by the Crossroads shopping center, don't go to the Gooding they are a big rip off. mkae a left on 535 and go about 1 to 2 miles. The Winn Dixie is on the right.
