Which grand gathering events

are worth doing?

We are definitely doing the Wishes/Pirate cruise, but has anyone really enjoyed something else on the list. Illuminations special viewing and desserts, or the one at Tusker house after the Safari? This will probably be the only time we'll qualify for the Grand Gatherings stuff so I want to put it to good use.

We did the breakfast at Tony's this past December. I can't say enought about how nice it was. We had great character interaction with Pluto, Chip, Dale, Goofy. Plus Tony was very entertaining. We had time for great group pictures, with each seperate family with Mickey Mouse after Breakfast. We also got Pins, and got to dance and have fun with the characters after breakfast. Breakfast is served family style, ample amounts of french toast, eggs, etc. We also did dinner at the Land Grille, Chef Mickeys, Liberty Tree Tavern and this was the best according to my father and law. I would agree.

We did the Safari Dinner and it was incredible. I would definitely do that one again.

15 of my family members and myself did the Illuminations Grand Gathering and loved it. The dinner was food from 5 different countries, so everyone could get something that they liked. During dinner they had a host that had fun with all of the parties involved. Then after dinner Goofy and Minnie came out and danced with all of the kids (and adults) for quite some time. The kids loved the special attention. They had a professional photo's if you wanted with the characters, and then they took you to the VIP section for soft drinks and dessert to watch the fireworks. Two thumbs up.
