Which GF restaurant (with kids) after MK?

Hi - trying too get this figured out. We are staying at the GF. On our MK day the park closes at 7:00. I have two kids that will be almost 3 yo along with my parents who typically eat at nice restaurants. I want a sit down dinner that evening because I don't want two CS meals at the MK! We will have to leave the park a little early to eat in time for the little ones.

Currently I have 6:50 ADRs at Grand Flor. Cafe. It seemed the most casual with kids after the park. But I am a little concerned about all the comments on how long the service takes. I also wonder if my parents would prefer the food at Citricos or Narc's? I am trying to strike the right balance here!

Should I keep the GF Cafe or try for one of the others? TIA!

I love the Grand Cafe! It's casual and elegant. I really think you will enjoy! Your alternate option would be 1900 Park Fare. . . but that's a little bit loud. Narcoosees is another great choice!

For after park causual - I would rank my choices as:

1. Grand Cafe
2. 1900 Park Fare
3. Narcoosees

We like the Gf Cafe . I had no problem with service there. I definately keep the ress.

Some on one of my parenting boards think I am crazy to do a sit down after being at the MK all day. We are planning on taking a break after lunch to rest at the hotel, and then a couple more (non-commando!) hours at the park before dinner. Am I crazy to even think about a sit down dinner after the MK with two young ones? (They are usually well-behaved, but I have no clue what Disney is going to do to them!) Any thoughts?

No way! You are not crazy! I think that getting out of the park and relaxing at the Cafe will be the perfect idea!!

GF Cafe is a great choice, especially with kids. You have a nice atmosphere, but not too stuffy and the food is good! I wouldn't worry about taking the kids there at that hour. If you said you were going to a 9 pm dinner, then I'd say you'll have SLEEPING kids at the dinner table, but at 7ish, they should be fine, even after a day in the MK!
