Stepmoms who want to take a family trip that does not include the step children.
I always assume the poor step kids aren't part of the "real" family.

Line jumping because there are a great many strong feelings on both sides of the argument on how it should/shouldnt be done.

I think the mugs get the most response from my experience in the threads I read. I just voted and didn't read through the entire post but I was surprised it wasn't one on the list.

One of my favorites has always been " My child is 12, will people complain if he/she is in a stroller?"

To me it seems like any thread that involves a moral that people can disagree over. Some people have really really strong viewpoints, and they believe that their viewpoint is the only right one and that anyone who doesn't believe them are wrong/bad. So they decide that, in order to make their viewpoint stronger, to press their viewpoint upon others and make them feel bad, like their viewpoint is wrong.

Can I get an amen!! You nailed my thoughts exactly yellowlabforever. I can't believe there are really people who do this on a board that's supposed to be about something we all mutually love -- WDW. I don't much care for people who can't see someone else's perspective and act like because you don't agree with their world view, you must be stupid and wrong. The presumptions these people make are breathtaking. I joined this board after lurking for a few months because I have gotten a lot of great tips and hints for upcoming trips, but I've noticed a handful of folks who seem to really be all about the drama, kind of childish, and spoiling for a fight all the time -- on an Internet board nonetheless. Thank goodness for the 'ignore' in the profile settings!

I'm still waiting for the Mod to say that you mentioned "Tipping" and it must be moved the Official Tipping thread ;)

I've never witnessed a tipping thread get out of hand, but if we must keep all tipping discussion to one thread...... must have gotten  :scared1: :headache:

We forgot a few
1. Getting a babysitter while at Disney
2. The whole "to rope drop or not to rope drop" debate
3. The deluxe dining plan and "all that wasted food"
4. Concierge lounge etiquette

Don't even mention Deluxe Dining or the first five responses will be about too much food....the posts don't answer the OP's question, but they just wanted OP to know it's too much food, no time in parks, too structured, etc. (Or the end to fun as OP knows it ;) )

Good list. You forgot smoking in non-designated smoking areas.
To go along with that, there have been ones where the complaint is that a non smoker is upset that smokers still smoked in designated areas even though the non smoker was there.

Just went through this whole thread and the 2 that came to my mind that have been hot topics around here recently have not been mentioned...so I guess I'll just keep them to myself! It seems as if really, there is no end to what people seem to want to debate over. Most times for me I just ignore it though...it really isn't much fun debating and you know that people really have some strong opinions and are not likely to change their minds so I don't really try.

Sitting and Standing on buses, should seats be given up and to whom you give them up too. Should you feel obligated to give up your seat to others is a very opinionated crowd.

Don't forget making multiple ADRs and not cancelling!

This irritates me SO much, probably because I don't have children yet....With children, other things will annoy me more I'm sure. :happytv:

We ALWAYS cancel when we decide not to go anywhere, including vacay ressies.

It is EXTREMELY RUDE not to!!!! :confused3

I see refillable mugs a lot here. What is the deal with those? I was under the impression those mugs were changed each year to avoid having people use ones from previous years.

Ah, never thought of this one....I guess I am a nicer person than I realized. :lmao: I always give up seats on the subway for pregnant and/or elderly...on the monorail, I have done it as well. Juast seems like a nice thing to do. :confused3

I was just reading a thread of recent where the OP was expressing his/her dislike with Animal Kingdom. While the majority of responses felt the same way about the park, you could tell those who like AK had taken the OP's comments to heart, and well, it struck nerves. ;)
The disagreeing responses started off liberal & understanding ("Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I respect yours...")
but then usually ended up...
(..."but here is why you are waaaaay wrong for thinking the way you do...") :lmao: :lmao:

But... but... but... they WERE waaaaay wrong for thinking the way they do! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I always wonder who told these folks they had to eat/order every thing that is included with the plan

Oh yeah, I agree. I'm a severely asthmatic non-smoker, so I'm sure you can guess where I stand on the issue! ;)
