Which FP to reserve first at 60 days?

At 7 am on the dot, I went for FoP first, for day 4 of my July trip, so effectively booking 64 days out.

I had no problem getting a morning time and even had a little wiggle room when I went back at 11ish to fine tune plans.

Same, when booking for my August trip. I had no trouble getting an afternoon time for FoP the fifth day of the trip. Had some choices when I went back noontime to tweak.

But that said, I would recommend maximizing your chances by going for FoP first, then FEA. And planning your AK day for as late in your trip as possible.

Is the FP strategy to book individual rides on different days. Like, FOP on Day 4 and then immediately switch to FEA on a different day, or do you book the whole day of FPs once you get the FOP on the day wanted and then move to the next ride priority and park?

For SURE book ONLY FoP first - nothing else on that day (go immediately to the next day you want FoP). Do all FoP rides (days) you want first, then go back and do FEA (remember that FEA FP start at 11am).
If you have a time-sensitive day, do that day first. (I just booked at 60 days for arrival 8/23: before my eyes FoP would go from 10 slots available to 1, right at 7:01am. There were no FoP times at all one of my onsite stay days over 60 days out. Most days, though, there was no problem getting afternoon or evening FoP.
FEA: many, many slots available every single day of my 10 day stay, at 60 days out at 7am. We are a party of 4. Had no problem finding FEA. It was actually harder to get 7DMT when I wanted it (but plenty of options - I had to book it at, say, 11am instead of 9am).

Was this the case for FoP only or also FEA? I have moved AK to day 6 of our trip so hoping by the time I reserve for May FoP will be doable.

I had no trouble getting FEA - we got it twice over our 7 day trip. I moved FoP to day s in the evening and there were many options. Also worth noting, we are a party of 7 - so probably harder for me to find those (and any) times.
