Which Fireworks Show is the best???

I need your help Ladies.....which fireworks show is the best in your opinion? I am considering doing a dessert party and have no idea which one to choose. HELP! My vow renewal ceremony is early December 2008. Thanks

I love the dessert party at EPCOT! Because you are right in the park and its your own private veiwing.

I did not realize you could even do one for wishes! I am interested in hearing more details about that one pretty please!

Illuminations seems to be the most popular, the show is amazing, but I have to say ALL of the fireworks shows are spectacular so whichever one you pick will be awesome.

I vote for illuminations!

Yes - we are doing our Dessert party for Wishes. It is at the Grand Floridian Marina, which has a beautiful view of the castle, and they are piping the music in for us.

I agree with dakcp2001, all the shows are amazing! We decided to go with the Illuminations dessert party for a couple of reasons. Illuminations is one of my favorite firework shows, we will be having around 50 guests and I don't think any of the boats can fit that many people for a Wishes dessert party. Also, our reception is going to be at the Living Seas, so it would be much easier to just walk over to the dessert party than to make everyone get on another bus again. The music goes great with both Wishes and Illuminations. The 2 really go hand in hand, but it depends on what you like. Wishes is so Disney. Its all disney themed music and they have some of the characters talking during some of the music. Illuminations is all instrumental and really beautiful. I would suggest you go on youtube and do a search of both firework shows to just get a feel for which one you like better. You can't go wrong with either one.

If Fantasmic counts as a firework show - that would be my pick - best show, best music! (in my opinion)

Personally I love Wishes. We did a cruise the night before our wedding. It was great except it was so cold that night!

I love Wishes and Fantasmic. I like Illuminations, but I'll probably have to sit down and give it another chance the next time I see it.

Another option for wishes is the Grand I yacht. It cost $450 per hour with a one hour min. It can hold 18 people. They also pipe the music(their is NO fee for this) and also you can bring your own food or order in. Hope that helps!

Honey2741, as many others have said, all of the fireworks shows are wonderful. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Now that my disclaimer is out of the way, I'm kinda partial to Wishes. I've held three parties at the Grand Floridian's marina just so my family and our guests could enjoy food & beverages while watching the fireworks show. Wishes has been my favourite since I first saw it. That trip I watched it 5 of the 7 nights I was in Disney. And I feel that Illuminations is old, it has been the same show for as long as I can remember (started going to disney 20yrs ago, go about once a year). Wishes just ends a perfect disney day in a perfect disney way. I love the star fireworks, they are so cool!
