which fastpass attractions first?

I've never been to DL (first trip coming up in July!), and am wondering about which fastpass ride(s) I should head to first. In my experiences at WDW, some of the FP attractions run out by 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon, and I want to make sure I don't miss out on something because I should have gone there earlier. If anyone has any advice on which attractions run out (and in what order), I would appreciate it! Thanks!

I would say that you should get Splash Mountain Fastpasses first as that can run out pretty early depending on how crowded it is. The next choice is probably Indiana Jones. Those are probably the two most important FP's to get, IMO. Be sure to ride Matterhorn first thing or at least earlier in the day as that doesn't have Fastpass available.

If you are going to DCA, I would suggest getting Tower of Terror Fastpasses first as that ride will probably be swamped this summer, then get one for Soarin' Over California, then California Screamin'. If you want to get soaked, get one for Grizzly River Run. I'm pretty sure that Grizzly River is on a seperate Fastpass "system" so you can get one of those while you have one for any of the other rides listed.

I second the comment on the Matterhorn. It is only at DL and although the line moved fast, it was really long. We went in August last year. I would also add that you should get a fastpass for Pirates of the Caribbean. It was really popular last summer maybe because of the movie.

One of the best rides was on the big sailing ship, Columbia, in the lagoon. Although it was a passive ride and didn't take a fastpass, the guy who ran the ride was really funny. My sons (12, 14) thought his jokes were hysterical and memorized them immediately.
