Which evening at MK should I choose?

I'll be at WDW in early May. I just found out that two of the nights I'll be there, Friday and Saturday, MK will be open until midnight. Only one parade has been announced so far, so I figure I would have about an hour and a half after the fireworks to continue going on rides while most of the other guests are leaving. I'm staying at the Contemporary, so I'm not trying to avoid the crowds leaving so much as trying to avoid them while they're in the park.

That Friday will be an AM EMH, drawing more of the vacationers into the park that day. Saturday, of course, is a hugely popular day for MK for local guests. My question is, given no further change in parade and fireworks times, which evening is less likely to be busy of the two? Thanks for your help. (Whether or not I cancel a Saturday morning ADR is riding on this decision.)

We went last August on a Saturday and a Wednesday. Saturday was less crowded than the Wednesday and the Saturday at MK was an evening EMH. Our next trip this coming June we plan on going to MK on Saturday again. I'm not sure about a Friday because we have never been.

If you're just going for the evening I would recommend Friday. It's EMH morning so it will start out really crowded, but guests that arrived too early will start leaving in droves by early evening as they tire out. It's also evening EMH at DHS which will draw away some of the night time crowd.

The problem is Disney almost always changes the EMH days. So they probably will change
