I have 1 more Table Service to make with our dining plan & we'll happen to be at Epcot.

I want to eat at one of the restaurants we've never ate at, but I'm having a tough time deciding.

So what ever you guys vote on, that's were I'll dine.

It will be 1 adult and 2 kids (8 & 10) and they are not picky eaters.

Thanks!

I voted Coral Reef, but I think I saw where it takes 2 of your points.

The only one of those I have eaten at is Mexico and it is awful. Stay away from there, especially when you have better options for your money with the dining plan.

I was really torn between Coral Reef and Chefs de France, but I voted for Coral Reef. Good French food can be found in many locales, but a setting like the Coral Reef is hard to come by. It's an experience in itself. But, I think the earlier post is correct, it does take 2 TS credits. Not sure it's worth that in my book...

You'll enjoy regardless--have a great time!

I like San Angel but you will get opposing replies for sure -- it seems to be hit or miss. And, I'm from the NE where Mexican food is usually frozen tacos heated up, lol.

Wanted to do Coral Reef but yes it is 2 TS. Again, being from the NE and the daughter, friend/ex-wife of fishermen, I can get seafood, THE BEST ANYWHERE, just for the asking... so I'm finding it hard to pay the prices they are getting, whether dining plan or cash.

We go to Disney in part for food and have eaten at every restaurant on your list as well as every country in the WS except China. While we have enjoyed most if the WS restaurants, Chefs is our favorite, hands down. We have NEVER had a bad meal here, and always experience top notch cuisine and service. The desserts are absolutely amazing.

That being said, the kids would probably love the atmosphere at Coral, but the food is hit or miss. Good luck!

Thanks for all the replies so far!

Mexico is actually my last choice, simply because I live in Southern California and there are Mexican restuarants EVERYWHERE, but the atmosphere looks nice to me & I wanted to see what everyone thought.

I was aware that Coral Reef was 2 points, but if we eat there, I will just pay for my daughters meal. My son is considered an adult on the plan and will order off the adult menu. Even before the plan when he was younger, he was never really interested in the kids meals, so the the plan actually works out great for him.

Keep the votes coming!! I love to hear what everyone thinks.

You will be disappointed in San Angel if you have good Mexican food back home. Coral Reef is really expensive, gets hit and miss reviews, and is ultimately just seafood. Do you have great UK and French food where you are? We don't, so we opt to dine at places we can't eat at home while at Epcot. I have not eaten at Rose and Crown or Le Chefs de France but voted for France due to high reviews on here (been here awhile and they seem to usually be outstanding reviews) and because it's next on my list to dine.

Good luck with whatever choice you make!

The onion soup at Chefs de France is one of the best I have ever had. The ambiance is unique, and if your reservation is close to Illuminations, you can see them from inside the restaurant.
My husband and I sometimes go to Epcot just to eat at Chefs de France. The proximity from the International Gateway makes it even easier to get there when staying at one of Epcot resorts, or even coming from MGM.
The tables are well separated from one another, which is not the case in many of the other countries (such as China and Italy), and the cost of the food is average for a TS while the quality is pretty good.

The Garden Grill is not on your choice list, but we thought their food was good when we ate there two years ago. You get a lot for your money (DH really liked that),

We've eaten at Garden Grill when it was the OLD menu and we really enjoyed it. But since they changed the menu, it doesn't really appeal to me (Except for the Fondue dessert :teeth: ).

Thanks Everyone :wave2: !

I've actually decided to go back to Le Cellier, because my daughter wants the smores dessert.

But if it goes up to 2-points, I'm going to make a PS (AR??) at Le Chefs as a back-up.

Think this is a good idea or should I just stick with France??

I know you've already made your decision, but I just had to post about San Angel. What people have to remember about it is that it is authentic. The Mexican food we eat in America, even at the "authentic" restaurants, is very Americanized. Don't go to San Angel expecting Tex-mex or anything else even close to the Mexican food you're used to--just like the other restaurants in the WS, it is different because it is authentic. DH and I love San Angel and the great opportunity to taste real Mexican food that is way different than the "authentic" food I make at home or we order from our favorite "authentic" restaurant. I know this taste is not for everyone, but I just wanted to remind people to go there with an open mind, not expecting the usual Mexican food.

I voted Chefs de France. It is a lovely restaurant and the food was pretty good. The service was excellent.

I'd probably pick Rose & Crown or Mexico.
