My rental with Apple was delivered to the Wilderness Lodge and was waiting for me at bell services which is where I turned it in when I left. I also met them at bell services to make the switch for the replacement one as i had called them from the resort.

We've used Walker Mobility several times now and always received outstanding service and rates lower than Apple or Buena at the time. Always a good product, no problems and competitive rates. Recommended.

Pricewise - Buena is slightly more expensive than Apple? We are looking to rent for my mother for 6 days. I wish Buena had price quotes on their web site.

I posted before I called Buena to get a price and was qouted $191 for 6 daya, not including insurance. Apple was $175 and included insurance and they drop it off and pick it up at bell services

Have other people used Apple? Does the scooter run all day and into the night on one charge?

I called Apple about their Go-Go Elite (the top 2 listed on their website) because it says the weight capacity is 175lbs. In reality the weight limit for that scooter is about 300lbs but they put 175 on their website because a heavier person is not going to get but 4-6 hours (depending on their weight) or so with it before needing a charge. I was told that for someone just over that weight that the scooter likely wouldn't last all day - but would work fine if I wanted to recharge it in the park. My guess for that scooter is that unless the person is very light, they are going to have to charge it. He suggested the Pride Victory for one (that at my weight) that would be more likely to go all day/night.

Thanks for this info. I had a feeling the smaller scooter would have this issue. Last time I rented from Buena Vista and got the larger scooter. No issues whatsoever with it running all day and night. You definitely don't want to have to recharge during the day. I would just get the next one up also! Happy Travels!

NEWBIE to the boards here..

So I rent from "Randy's Mobility" I always have and I always will.. They have always given me the BEST price around and the best customer service. Even when I had a problem with a bad battery once they were quick to resolve it and get me new ECV ASAP.. Amazing company and great customer service. The ECV's I have rented have always been clean and comfy and look brand new. I even got the canopy once and although it wasn't for me (a bit bulky) my dad loved it when he would ride around so I could walk a bit with my crutches. They have several different models of ECV's and you just need to tell them what you need or want and they will completely work with you. Very accommodating for drop offs and pick ups as well. The last time I just called as soon as I got on the DME and they were there waiting when we arrived at our hotel.

They also rent strollers and manual chairs. They will deliver pretty much anywhere in the Orlando area. Best part is the price.

P.S. My battery always has lasted the entire day/night as well and we usually do the EMH's so were up early and out late. If we are at a restaurant where there is a charger I will charge it but on days that I didn't give it an extra charge I still made it back to the room at night.

Does anyone know how long the ECV will stay charged on the Walker Scooters? I just want to make sure I don't have to charge at the parks. And....if you break down in a park...will they come take care of you? Since they are not an approved vendor....can they get into the park to service you?

Any ECV should stay charged enough all day in any park. Just turn it off when you're not moving for more than a few minutes, take the key out during shows, take the key out and with you when you leave the ECV somewhere.

The five vendors listed are not "approved"; they're "featured". This means they pay a fee to Disney to be able to drop off and pick up mobility rentals at Bell Services at the resorts. Yes, Walker will be able to not only come onto WDW property, but also enter any park with a replacement on the minimal chance a customer has a problem.

My sister used Buena Vista. She had a great experience - delivered right on time to her resort, no problems with the scooter, and easy to rent and arrange drop-off/pick/up.

Thanks, yes I used Buena Vista before. They were great! But then I noticed the Walker Scooters at the Parks. They seemed a tiny bit shorter, easier to navigate on and off the buses. I think they are actually 3/4 inches shorter. The buses can be tricky, especially when there is another scooter already on. So that's why I was asking about Walker Scooters.

I think I specifically replied to you by accident. I meant to reply to the thread in general. Sometimes chubby fingers and iPhones don't play well. LOL!!
